This is a GREAT guitar for the money. It looks and sounds great. The amp is great for practicing but has a touchy gain. As beginner guitars go this one is really good and comes with everything you need. When we received it, the spare set of strings was incomplete but as soon as we let Donn K know, he sent another set right away. Great buy, I recommend it if you are looking for a perfect beginners electric guitar.

I have been a music director and composer for 22 1/2 years. I recently ordered this guitar and was amazed at how good it was. The sound quality on it is amazing for a guitar of its caliber. I would highly recommend this guitar for beginners or amateur musicians that want a great guitar at a reasonable price.

As a beginner, I picked this up due to it's price. It arrived within two days. No defects at all. The item is well packaged. Keep in mind this does not come with an amp. I was a bit confused from others' review. It's a small investment to start playing guitar. Overall, it worth the price.

I have purchased inexpensive guitars on a whim in the past, and they have all cost more than this. I really don't understand how they are selling this guitar at the price they are. This is in fact a very nice guitar in every respect. Not the slightest defect, not even cosmetic and the overall build quality is pretty good. The picture in the product listing is pretty poor, what arrived caught me off guard with it's excellent... everything. As far as having a generic name on the headstock? If you take some very fine sandpaper to it and are very gentle, it is easily removed without leaving behind a blemish. You could gig with this and no one would know it was super cheap. I have a spare Seymore Duncun pickup I could drop into this, but I don't see the need. The bridge and tuners are surprising nice too. I could keep carrying on but you get the idea.

I have never played guitar, and I have always wanted a purple one. This one is great for a beginner. My husband, who has been playing for 17+ years also enjoys this guitar. He says that it holds tune well and sounds great. I don't have any complaints about this guitar. Well worth the money!
