I really LOVED these shoes, initially. They feel amazing and helped my get through a 10 hour work day on a hard concrete surface. They don't hurt my feet what-so-ever and they actually helped with my back problems quite a bit. My only issue with them was with the stitching of the two different materials near the baby-toe area. On BOTH of my shoes, there is now a nickel sized hole. This began 2 months after purchase. I've never ran in them like intended. These have merely been walking shoes for work while I'm on my feet all day. My toe nails are short, so that's not the cause. It's simply poor placement of the mating of the two materials. You've got the tougher toe strip that you see in the pictures and then you've got the lighter, breathable, web-like material beyond that. Where those two materials are stitched together, it doesn't hold. I've attached a picture of one of the two shoes. My finger is pressed up against the inside so you can see the size of the hole. Both shoes are identical as far as far as the hole goes. No pair of Nike's should start to fall apart after only 2 months. Maybe that's why they aren't priced like the typical $150 Nike's. Who knows. I contacted the seller (Heart & Sole), but they wouldn't help in the matter, nor would Amazon. I guess worn merchandise is worn merchandise and I'm simply out of luck. Like I said, I really wanted to like these shoes. I could wear them all day long, but now I have to consider buying something else. They've progressively gotten worse. Not before long, they won't be wearable. Luckily I wear black socks...

Now, with Nike shoes make sure to add a half size i.e. If you are 8.5 then order a 9. These shoes are light, really comfortable with great heel cushioning, and they look great. Perfect for jogging, gym, cross training, or going out. Very happy with my purchase

You get what you pay for. I have now had 2 pairs of the Revolutions. This pair was done after 4 months. They wear out quicker than the Nike Free shoes that I was buying. The tread wear is great- the part that deteriorates first is the fabric sides where your toes bend- there were holes in the fabic a lot sooner than I would have expected.

I really like the Nike Revolution 2 shoes. I run an average of 3 miles a day and have no complaints about this line. Great shoes for the price!

I work 12 hr shifts at a hospital so I'm patrolling forgiving floors most of that time as house supervisor. I also have a little callous or bunion that's come up on my right 5th (pinkie) toe that always runs on the shoes I were wearing. It was driving me crazy. Enter these guys in a 4e. Massive toe box and they look great. I'm not sure what kind of padding they have (it's not the lunar line) but it makes for an extremely comfortable ride. No more toe problems, no more tired feet.

UPDATE: After running with them for two weeks I had to stop. Incredibly painful shin splints from the first few steps and calves that stay sore for days even if I take off. Was able to run 3-4 miles with little problem. With these I max out at 3 miles when I'm fresh and rapidly drop down throughout the week. Calf pain so intense I'm afraid I'm going to fall down.

I wear an 11.5 4E and picked these up because they stopped making the New Balance shoe I prefer. They look nice, but they are not very comfortable. A lot of pressure points on the top of the foot keeps you from tying it tightly. Even with a loose tie there are still pressure points around the tongue. Arch support also doesn't help if one foot is slightly larger than the other. Took about a week or two to break the arch so it wouldn't cause discomfort. Didn't experience that with my New Balance running shoe.

Tread on the show is great though. One thing I wish New Balance did a better job at.

I don't recommend it. I have another pair of nike basketball shoes that are leather and they are quite comfortable. Nike can make a good fitting shoe, this just isn't one of them.

I have purchased other Nike "wide" shoes and they have always had some marking inside to indicate that feature. I have one pair that says 4E inside and and one that says "wide", the box these came in was marked wide, but there is not indication on the shoe itself and they don't seem wide. I'm right on the boarderline so I can get away with med width shoes if I get them a half size larger. These definitely don't "feel" wide but they're ok - I would like them bigger for the extra comfort.
