I purchased this bundle to quickly come up to speed on Rhino 5. While Rhino has a very simple and useful help system, the documentation appears to be slim-to-none. Considering this, these videos are well worth the price. I have had some minimal experience with Autocad and 3D-Studio Max, so the concepts presented about surface normals, commandline usage, export formats, etc were not entirely foreign to me. The manner of instruction and the information presented would be beneficial to a total beginner as well.

The instructor focuses on critical features of Rhino early. The topics presented allowed me to be productive quickly. Within a couple of days I was able to create accurate 2d and 3d parts, export them in dxf and stl formats, run them through my cam software, and cnc them on my mini-mill. If I had a 3d printer, I would have had these parts even quicker.

The instructor focuses a lot on product design. He doesn't spend as much time focusing on using Rhino's capabilities to achieve absolute cad accuracy as he does drawing freeform curves. But he does demonstrate enough of the methods of how to achieve accurate angles, lengths, tangency, using the commandline, etc that you can go from there to achieve whatever level of accuracy you require.

I highly recommend these tutorials if you would like to quickly learn Rhino 5 to design your own parts for CNC for 3D printing, product design, or computer modeling projects.

Update: After contacting Infinite Skills I was provided a download copy of the product so that I could play the videos on my Mac while working on my PC. The service was quick and courteous. Videos play well. I am now quite satisfied with the produce (video content).

Original:
I received my DVDs in good time and the packaging was good enough that they arrived safely. The DVDs are well labeled and appear in good condition. So far, so good.

I put both DVDs in my Mac and finder brings them up as "blank" with no content. I put them in my Windows laptop and everything is fine. Problem is, I was going to watch the videos on my Mac while working on the PC with the practice files. That won't work.

So technically the product does work but is not, from my experience, cross platform. This was essential for my planning and now will not work.

I will probably not buy their products again based on this experience though I might consider a download membership, maybe, in the future.
