It was ok. Lots of little thorns or stickers. Took me forever to sift them out. The seeds themselves were pretty dry. I'd buy again if the price came down. It's good to have as an emergency prepping item.

I've been feeding my horses this product for almost a year now with great results. It always arrives quickly, well packaged and very clean. I store the entire bag in my chest freezer then take out their nightly portion and grind it in a coffee mill. Their coats have never looked better and it's much less expensive than stabilized flax products out there and it's fresh. Good source for Omegas, for arthritis, muscles and insulin resistance. Love it.

The flax seeds are just like I expected. No debris, just flax seeds. The bag was delivered via UPS in a box that really wasn't sturdy enough to hold 50 pounds, or UPS tossed it around a bit, since when I found it on my doorstep, the box was almost completely open. The tape couldn't contain the weight of the bag. But the bag was perfectly intact. Would order again.
