Raw food supplements are the way to go, not only does your body absorb them better than the chemically derived versions, you can take them on an empty stomach.
I notice a significant difference with zinc. Im more relaxed before bed, sleep way better, and recover faster from workouts. Its probably worth mentioning that it also boosts your libido.
Instead of taking 2 at a time, i take one capsule in the morning and one 30 minutes before bed. Zinc first thing in the morning seems to help me with energy and focus throughout the day.
Ive been taking Garden of Life supplements for a couple of years and highly recommend their products. Raw food supplements are slightly more expensive, but worth the investment. Give them a try!

This is one of the few products that has really impressed me. It feels like my body uses this better and there is just something about it that I like. I wish I could pinpoint what that is for you, but I really can't point to anything concrete. I just know that I feel better taking this product and I am about to purchase more. Zinc is so good for the hair, skin, and nails that it was worth supplementing. I was told to try it for geographic tongue, which is where you get different patterns on your tongue that can be uncomfortable and look very weird. I haven't had this problem since taking this product, and I've had it quite bad for 20 years or so. So I can tell it's doing something quite remarkable in my body.

If you want zinc, give raw zinc a chance. It comes from plants instead of inorganic sources that can't be fully assimilated. I really believe this to be a superior form of zinc as it has helped an issue nothing else has helped.

I recently learned that zinc could help me with my hair skin and nail problems. I chose this product because I trust the brand and I like that their vitamins are often in food form or a form that is more absorbable/bioavailable by the body. This product doesn't just contain zinc, but it also has a mixture of other nutrients that work together with zinc. I have found it to help me immensely. One of the most obvious and interesting things that happened after taking it is, my nails became thick and strong. Also, I always had white specs on my nails before, but not anymore after taking this zinc product. I am so thankful for companies like this one who make great products that work.
