The quality of this shelving unit is on par with others but, this is made in Canada so, it is probably made of safer materials than others made overseas. Packaging is very good with all corners of the box reinforced. The box itself is very heavy. All pieces were present and in great condition. Directions are mostly only pictures, very little written directions. Therefore, you must pay careful attention to the predrilled holes in the pictures to determine proper assembly. I tried reversing the top and bottom at first until I recounted the predrilled holes in the picture directions. Their website has no directions. Nice foot levelers. Some smell to the unit remains after 2 days but,is decreasing daily. I wish it had more than one shelf as I'm using for extra bathroom storage. The reason for four stars is that the back is cardboard. I was planning on positioning next to a sink but, was afraid the back would be splashed with water and ruined. I would have paid more money to have had a more substantial back panel. Be careful when unpacking because I almost bent and threw away the back panel before I realized what it was. Overall nice quality but, the deal breaker had I known would be the cardboard back because it is being used in a damp environment.
