I was extremely upset when I received the package. The label simply says " Cut and Sitted Dandelion Root NATURAL"" It does not have the same label as shown in picture where it says USDA organic. What they did they printed a code and and stuck it in top of label saying "Frontier Bulk Dandelion IED Organic", Really?

great for your liver!

decoction: in a saucepan, warm the pan and lightly toast 2-4 tbsp of this root (without any oil or liquid), stirring often so it does not burn. then add 1 cup water and 1 cup almond milk, and bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer for about 20 minutes. when done, lower the heat and let cool to drinkable temperature, and add 2 tbsp honey.

a delicious and really helpful tonic.

Love, love, love it. I use it to make my roasted dandelion coffee and it's sooooo good I'll never go back to coffee again. This is so much more healthy and nutritional and better tasting. I would highly recommend this product.

Taste great! for some reason I expected it to e really bitter but it's not that bitter at all! The roots expand after seeping and it seems like you yield a good amount of tea per cup.

They do not sell the laves of chicory like they do with dandelion so chicory is harder to find. Chicory gives big blue beautiful flowers, dandelion small yellow flower. I do not make tea or anything, I just consume it straight with spoon after I ground it in the coffee grinder as a healthy food and sometimes just by mixing it with raw honey. Chicory paste on skin is the greatest medicine for swelling and inflammation mixed with raw honey. Chicory enhances the richness of the coffee since it has the taste of chocolate, or close to chocolate. Dandelion is very bitter but great for salads, chicory you get roots in granules, no leaves with chicory but regardless chicory and dandelion have the same value to me as a superfood. Can place the roots of dandelion and chicory together and make a drink that is between coffee and tea, infact it is neither, it is a drink with the taste and smell of dandelion and chicory. You can even make that drink without the mix, separately.

DANDELION: I consume dandelion all the time since it is a superfood to me and I have to travel all the way to a store every single time to purchase few bunch of those beauties since it is a rare green not sold in most US counties. One cup of raw dandelion offers me 112% vitamin A and 535% vitamin K, shocking amount of health in raw stage, a competition to kale but not popular due to its bitter taste. In some of the trails that I hike and mountain bike, there are huge branches of dandelions and luckily most people are not familiar with dandelion so I end up with happy, healthy, wild greens when working out in the mountains but that happens only spring time since when rains stop and heat moves in, dandelions dry out till next season of rain. Healthy, healthy, healthy food.

This is not what I expect for "cut and sifted" - it is not sifted! I have been drinking dandelion root tea for a long time and the chunks are much bigger than I've ever seen before and they come with a lot of small grit. Definitely not a uniform cut which is what I was looking for with the "cut and sifted" label. Next time I will only buy these things when they come with a photo of the actual product, not just the package.
Also - don't make the mistake I did - this is NOT roasted and does not taste good.

I enjoy this tea some mornings in place of coffee. I make a light brew.

I am impressed with all of the Frontier products, that I have bought. I must admit, I do have quite a few beverage choices in my pantry now. I like the Frontier foil packaging, as well as the tea.
