If you have a CyberPower CP1500PCFLCD, the manual has an error. You want RB1280X2B, which has the correct harness. If you're not sure, pop the cover - if there are two discrete wires, you want this one. If there's one large connector, you want the "B" variant.

4-stars because CyberPower customer service is awesome and is sending me replacements right away.

We have a bunch of these 1500's in the office and when the batteries go dead it's nice to have a few extras laying around to get things going again. Comes with a 1 sheet instructions for several different UPS types and DO NOT TAKE OFF THE TABS if you've never changed these batteries before. It seems tempting like that new plastic that comes on new electronics to peel the plastic off but DON'T DO IT! They help you pull the battery out of the UPS.

This fixed the issues I was having with my UPS not working despite self-tests passing. UPS's apparently have no circuitry to tell you when the battery is bad, but I checked and mine was 3 years old so that's a pretty good lifespan.

Symptoms that a new battery pack may fix:
1. All your stuff randomly powers off even though the battery reads 100% and the self-tests pass
2. Overload error, constant beep, while everything is off
3. Status occasionally shows charging, and battery reads 70% or so and does immediately charge

This has kept my PowerPanel cruising along and doing its job. About 2 weeks after I got the replacement we had a power outage for 3 hours. My UPS kept me going for almost an hour before I had to cleanly shut down. It prevented a lot of heartache.

These are a perfect match replacement battery for the UPS i have. We use it to supply power in the event of blackout or brownout. We have some equipment that is sensitive to power failures and needs to be backed up by UPS like the one that these batteries fit in. SO When the batteries we already had onsite failed I immediately went shopping. I looked at several sites online and found Amazon had the best price.

The batteries arrived on time and well packaged for being as heavy as they are. Once opened was pleasantly surprised by the instructions to replace these batteries. I removed the bezel and found the tab to pull to remove the current battery. Once out it was super easy to disconnect and slide the new ones in place. Then connecting was a snap. Plus the actual connectors have guards on them to prevent you accidentally touching them.

This was a great choice and it was way cheaper to DIY the battery replacement than to replace the whole unit. I think anyone could do this and save themselves some money. Plus it allows you to swap them out during use which is a huge advantage, no need to power down equipment and risk data loss or equipment malfunction at all.

I bought the Cyberpower 1500AVR about 7 years ago and although it was used for light duty, with an average draw of less than 200 watts, it never gave me any problem, and worked as expected on several occasions with power outages. When the battery died, I was very happy with the past performance so I decided to replace the batteries instead of buying a new unit, for about half the cost. I went with the Cyberpower battery instead of other brands because I know the performance and how long I can expect them to last.

Quick swap after my 1350 Cyberpower LCD failed - CP1350AVRLCD is the exact model. Of course, it failed immediately at the start of a 45 sec power loss and took 1 computer and 3 external disk arrays down without warning. That's more about the unit than the batteries. The original batteries were probably 6+ yrs old, so well beyond the expected lifetime.

These batteries were a 5 minute swap - 1 screw, 2 extremely tight electrical connections (used 2 pliers to free and reconnect them) and 6 hr charge to get the UPS back and happy again. Ran for about a week without any protection before I ordered these replacements, which made me nervous.

Cut my hand during the replacement. Clumsy. Like a paper cut - nothing serious, just very inconvenient.

Seems odd that these same batteries are listed for both the 1350VA and 1500VA Cyberpower UPSes. Own both and plan to replace the 1500 batteries next year, proactively.

Took about 4min to install. Just remove the one screw at the bottom of the front face, slide it down until the front pulls out, then install the new battery. Just make sure you turn it on to get the beep to make sure you did it correct. Now I'm just letting it charge for 16hrs before I plug anything in. It comes with instruction with pictures.
