These things really work. I see solicitors or sales people walk right up, pause, read it, and walk away. Also I have never had USPS, UPS, FedEx or any other legit outfit question the sign or question leaving anything at the door or knocking. Matter of fact many of them laugh and ask me where they can get one. Had one UPS guy make a joke about "selling my house" while he was delivering a package and then he ordered his own for his house.

There are a few solicitors that may ignore it but a quick "Can't you read?" and they are on their way not to return. If you dislike solicitors get one of these little signs and you will be glad you did.

after being taken in by a door to door hustler I purchased this sign as a reminder never to answer the door. I am constantly being pestered by religious groups who want to convert me. I respect everyone's choice but these groups don't respect mine. the cost of the sign was minimal if it works. was very pleased by the quality.

This sign is well constructed and made of heavy metal. It is a smaller sign so can be placed on the front door or in a window as well as outside. It does not have pre-drilled holes but I have mine placed in a window facing the porch. Works great. Would recommend it if you want to keep the wolves at bay :)

This does the job. It's a little extreme but the "No Soliciting" sign we had on our front door was all but ignored and we got tired of the hordes of markerters and bible thumpers that descended on our street each weekend and during the evening on work nights. Now, they read the sign and leave without bugging us. I know these people for the most part are trying to make a living and I respect that, but my relaxation time is minimal and I was tired of arguing with people who were trying to get me to switch electric services, cable (sorry...we ditched cable!), or trying to shake me down for a donation, etc. The interuptions have since gone down to almost zero.

We used to have a ton of solicitors coming to our house to sell things,ask for votes, or help us find religion, but ever since we put this sign up our interruptions have significantly decreased. I am certain that this sign could be misconstrued as "rude" but that is not our attention, we just want to relax in our own home and not feel forced to buy something (or into something) we have no interest in buying.
