The lantern is very big....if you're ordering for an event, average one lantern to 2 adults (these would be difficult for kids alone to manage). After lighting it, it takes about 4 minutes for the lantern to inflate properly and start floating up, so be prepared to stand holding the top until it inflates. I bought just one to try it out, and it floated up really high until it was no longer visible - so don't worry about them crashing down in front of your guests.
I wish there were small sizes but I'd definitely recommend these.

Lovely lanterns

We ordered these to use as a memorial to honor the life of our daughter. She died unexpectedly shortly before her fifth birthday. We decided to gather with friends and family and send a pink lantern up into the sky on her birthday.
This lantern worked beautifully despite foggy weather. We were so pleased with the product. The lantern was quite large and the color was bold and it glowed brightly pink even as it floated high into the air.

First time ordering lanterns, we ordered this and a couple other packs . This lantern was better quality than the others and it came as one piece , the others we had to attach the the square that you burn , so having one piece easier . This lantern seemed to fly farther and stay lit longer than the others . We will definitely be ordering more ! Well worth the extra money to us !
