I attached my HDMI cable into this and ran a 15' HDMI cable over to my ASUS VS238H-P monitor and it worked the very first time. I would purchase again. I also liked the gold screws on this connector because I was able to use a flat screw driver to lightly tighten them down to my video card. Out of the two connectors I bought on for DVI-D and one for DVI-I this one was of better quality due to the gold plated screws allowing you to fasten the connector down better.

EXCELLENT! I have 2 desktops connected to one monitor. When my grandchildren come to visit, they use the spare PC so my personal tax files, etc do not get corrupted. This splitter works great. You can imagine other applications, including multiple PC's connected for business display via projector---a real time saver. Bottom line is, you need one of these in your PC bag now---you can be the hero at the meeting---got one now, before you look and don't have it.

It splits two identical outputs, but you get a lot of what appear to be dead pixels in a certain color range. Your screen isn't actually broken, its just the connection isn't perfectly sealed. It bothered me enough to where I stopped using it all together.

Works well to mirror monitors, but did not work for what I wanted to use it for; to split a dual link DVI connection so I could extend a Windows desktop across two monitors. It does work well if you need to mirror two monitors.

The splitter only works when only one DVI cable is attached to it (it doesn't matter if a cable is connected but goes to a device that is off - if there is a second cable attached at all, the signal is lost on the first connection). Both connections work, but only one at a time.

Splitter was received defective, and I had to pay postage to return the broken product. No a happy camper. Connected both ends independently between one computer and one monitor. One side worked other didn't. Had to pay shipping to purchase, and then pay to return defective product. Do not buy from this vendor!
