We own two porcelain coated cast iron hutch ovens from the expensive French brand, this product is indistinguishable from them. The coating is uniform and smooth. The interior color is the same as the French cookware and cleans up with the same ease. Frankly, I was amazed at the quality for the price. If something is burned on, an overnight soak cures the problem just like for the expensive French brand.

I opt'ed for the Amazon store card and received an immediate $20 discount. A braiser of this quality for a total of $28 is unheard of.

I have owned Copco and Le Cruset for over four decades, along with several other pieces of cast iron - both coated and plain. Cast iron is by far my favorite cookware ... and the striking thing for me is that this relatively inexpensive pan is clearly equal to any of them. The weight, the fit of the lid, the nonstick quality of the pan lining, the near perfect efficiency with which the pan achieves even temperatures across the cooking surface ... all are five stars. I wish I knew who the actual manufacturer of this was, as I would eagerly seek them out in replacing or adding to my cookware collection. Recommended without reservation.

I really like this Braiser pan. I have been eyeing the proprietary porcelain coated cast iron sets that are demonstrated on one of the shopping channels but don't want to invest in an entire set. All I really need are a couple of "go-to" pieces. Reading reviews and searching other shopping sites I found this one here and it is a darn good price with free shipping to boot. Very nice color, well constructed, and as mentioned already in other reviews....very heavy!! I use this on my induction cooktop, browning beef, simmering tomato sauce recipes, searing chops then placed in the oven to finish cooking, fits in my sink, it is a dream to clean and no staining yet, amazing. I leave this out on the stove all the time as I use it pretty much everyday and hopefully more pieces will be made available for purchase to match this braiser in color, quality and finish. Figured this was a good way to find out what cast iron cooking is all about without spending too much.....I have bought quality name pans for much more in the past only to have the finish last a few years of regular use. Looking forward to see just what the durability of this pan will be.

I normally don't go for celebrity chef branded stuff, but this one was offered at the right price. This one is a great pot! Got it yesterday, used it yesterday -- it's going to be my new go-to for things I would normally pull out the big dutch oven for. Heats evenly and holds the heat. Wish it was red to match all my other enameled cast iron, but the graphite color is nice, too.

I love this braiser. I waited a long time to get one and I am really pleased with this pan. I have cooked in it several times now and it has cleaned up beautifully each time. I do wish it was dishwasher safe but that is my only complaint. I was a little concerned about the quality due to the low price but was pleasantly surprised to find out it is a very nice pan. I am so glad I never broke down and spent over $250 for the braiser by Le Creuset. Not only do I love this braiser, but I saved $200 on the purchase. I know Le Creuset has their fans, but I cannot justify paying so much more for a pan. If you have been waiting to buy a nice braiser - wait no longer.

i bought this wanting an everyday pan. This is definitely it. I cooked bacon in it for breakfast, chicken in it for lunch, and steaks for dinner. The enamel lining makes for easy cleanup without sacrificing the cast iron qualities. I can't wait to make corned beef in it to utilize the braised bumps on the lid.
Only gripe.. I bought it to keep it out on my stove. I wish it came jn other colors.
