Excellent product. This was installed easily on my 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty CC SWB 4x4. The item replaced an older Explorer unit which had started leaking after 10+ years. Comparing the two side by side, the Bilstein unit appears better made. Removal of the mounting bolts for the old stabilizer was the only challenging part of the installation. The fasteners eventually yielded to some PB Blaster and an impact wrench. The new stabilizer went on smoothly. I used the stock Ford mounting point on the track bar. I did not have to adjust the location of it from my prior It has definitely tightened up the sloppy steering on the Ford. I would highly recommend.

Replaced new EOM damper. compared to a new OEM it has same resistance in one way travel but OEM allowed quick movements that would cause wandering and death wobble. The Bilstein stoped death wobble i had.

Works great! Installed in about 15 minutes including moving the center link bracket. This fixed a large portion of the loosey-goosey feeling steering on my '99 ford F350 Superduty. I've got 174,000mi on it and I was thinking the ball joints etc... were due. Turns out, the old Rancho steering dampener I had put on years ago was shot. This Bilstein is the same length as the factory dampener so I had to reposition the mounting bracket I had extended for the Rancho. It's a simple proposition. Turn the wheel hard left, measure 9 5/16" from the joint in the center link to the left side of the mounting bracket, tighten it up. There are mounting grooves in the center link so it's easy to figure out. drove down the freeway after install and most of the wander is gone. Love it.

Great replacement steering damper for my 2001 Ford Diesel Excursion. Fit great, works great. Only slight negative is it does slightly push out, due to it's internal pressure...... so if you let go of the steering wheel it would eventually steer you to the left. Like I said, it is very slight (but there). I would definitely buy another on if the need ever arises. My truck is lifted five inches and I'm running larger than stock tires. The steering feels tight, with no hint of bump steer, death wobble, or anything else.

I had just replaced a Rancho 9000 front dampener,the previous month on my 2002 Ford F250 4x4 that went bad with less than 20k on it. I wish I had researched the reviews more, I would of never put that Rancho on there. It was already getting soft. this dampener does not have a boot and the shaft size was slightly smaller than the Rancho, but it has way more dampening power and came with the mounting hardware on both ends. It really helped with the clunky steering these trucks are know for.

put this on my 2002 ford f 250 super duty, v10,, 4 by 4. old one worn out completely, made a major difference in steering, have used , rancho, monroe,tuff country, on other four wheel drives through the years, this on makes almost all of them seem , substandard,, if your looking to up grade, this is the way too go, if it fits your vehicle , spend the extra and just buy it,, easy install, 30, minutes in drive way, with hand tools, replaced factory, no adjustment needed, very tight moving , not easy to move back and forth like some of others, took out steering play, over bumpy roads, and any bump steer,, will buy again
