I ordered these vanilla beans to make vanilla extract and they came just as described.They're Grade B which is apparently what you need to make it, so hopefully the extract turns out good. They weren't too dry, smelled like they should, and all came in the right size. Plus, you can't beat the prize, since supermarkets overprice them WAY too much!

All ten were shipped in a clear plastic baggy that is zip-locked shut. While it wasn't the fastest shipping time, it arrived on the final date of the estimated delivery time so I can't complain.

Will definitely buy these again when I need more!

These are very good tasting aromatic vanilla beans. I haven't used them to make vanilla extract yet but plan to some time. I use them to flavor ice cream and the ice cream is very vanilla tasting using two. One is suggested in the recipes but if vanilla is used I want to taste it, not just wonder what the flavor is. I have bought several different vanilla beans from different countries and don't really notice a big difference in flavor. These are at the right price and are great tasting so I may buy them again if the price is the lowest.

I purchased this for making my own vanilla extract and I was very pleased upon receiving it. Not only did it arrive quickly , it was packaged very nicely. Upon opening the sealed bag the aroma was very rich and warm. The beans were nice and firm but soft enough to cut lengthwise to put into the alcohol for extract. I would highly recommend this product to others.
