Flavor Name: Coconut Curry with Chicken & Shitake MushroomsSize: 14 Ounce
Overall applies to all the soups: The chicken (in the flavors that have chicken) is brown, but it is a more natural chicken texture than what you find in other canned soups (the suspicious cubes with lots of fatty parts) and it's shredded so I had no problems eating it, though I give chicken from most canned soups to the cats. It's easy to heat in the pouch, and the pouch is labeled where to pick it up after heating (2 minutes in the microwave), so it's not hot to touch. But the overall taste is something I'd expect from a restaurant, not from a canned (or bagged) soup. Except for some lobster bisque and shrimp & corn chowder I got at Aldis several years ago I've never NOT been disappointed by a pre-packaged soup. This was surprisingly good, it tasted like the real thing rather than the "I have to settle for a crappy version for the sake of convenience" kind of thing. Now I want to try all the flavors, though the soup is pretty pricey. About 40 percent more than canned soups. But it's worth it for an occasional treat. Or if you have more money than I do and don't have to worry about that part as much.

Flavors in order of goodness (all personal preference):

MOROCCAN STYLE CHICKEN WITH CHICKPEAS: I'm not familiar with Moroccan food, so I don't know how authentic it is. But the soup is the one so far that is almost as chunky as the photo on the pouch. It is quite spicy, but also very very sweet. I could smell the "sweet" as soon as I opened the bag. The chicken is the same as in the other soups, there are several whole chickpeas and lots of tomato pieces.

CREAMY RED PEPPER WITH SMOKED GOUDA: I don't like tomato soup. But I wanted to try all the Go Soup flavors, and I got this one too. It was super. The soup is mostly liquid with a few tomato chunks in it.

These make great meals on the go, though a bowl is advised could probably eat w/out. Fit well in my bag, no worries about leaking or anything.

Flavor wise, I adored the spicy chorizo and pulled chicken when I got a free sample, and decided to try the others, but found them not to be to my taste, though I could see others liking them.

average 350-420 calories / BAG - 2 servings / bag, so don't get excited when you look @ nutrition facts like I did (210 calories! awesome... wait...)

Flavor Name: Golden Lentil with Madras CurrySize: 14 Ounce
As the previous poster described - I was shopping at Wal-Mart and noticed these pouches in the soup aisle. The first I tried was the Golden Lentil with Madras Curry. I too am a sucker for good curry. I tried it today and OMG it is freaking delicious. Campbell's GO Soups will be SOLID in my lunch rotation.

I used to love the Campbell's Go Soups. After this last purchase, I am afraid to try it again. It looks nothing like the picture on the cover. The sauce was brown, not yellow. The chicken was dark brown, not white. The flavor was there, but I could not get past the look. Picture attached! This is the Cocount Curry with Chicken.

Flavor Name: Chicken & Quinoa with Poblano ChilesSize: 14 Ounce Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
We both enjoyed trying this soup. On first bite, it tasted slightly sweet - not so much from sugar as the vegetables - and not as salty compared to traditional Campbell's soups.

CHICKEN QUINOA POBLANO CHILIES SOUP

The soup is chunky, with pieces of chicken, whole black beans, and corn. Not as much as in the picture, of course. It has the robust flavor of southwest-American cuisine.

I am usually disappointed with products advertising chili peppers. This one says "Are you chicken, or can you take the heat?" While this soup has a noticeable bit of heat to it, it is not very hot - I think most people would call it mild to medium. However, I cannot taste the roasty goodness of poblanos in it, and indeed, the ingredients list it as less than 2%. Oh well: I so love poblanos, and was hoping to find chunks of roasted poblano in it.

It says it has quinoa in it, but I didn't notice very much in it. Whereas quinoa has a really interesting texture, it does not make much of an appearance here. The package says "Gimme some grain!" on it, perhaps a reaction from someone who thought this soup should have more. ;)

There is not a LOT of chicken in the packet, but there is enough to be satisfying. Although the soup is called Chicken & Quinoa with Poblano Chilies, you won't notice the last two as much as, say, the black beans or corn.

Try it with a bit of grated cheese on top, or a spoonful of Greek (strained) yogurt or low-fat sour cream.

MADRAS LENTIL SOUP

I do love a good lentil soup, and this one is really quite good. The spicing is very much the kind you will find in Chennai (Madras) style curries. It is not too heavy or too hot, but it tastes "right".

I have tried all of them except the Red Pepper and the Thai Chicken, and most reviews said these were the best. I enjoyed the curry soups, I am not a big fan of curry and wasn't sure I would like it. The curry is a subtle flavor, not at all overwhelming to me. That being said, I did enjoy them!!

I have taken a package, added more beans, tomatoes and chicken, spiced it with some more hot pepper seasoning and served the Spicy Chorizo with tortilla chips and some sliced avocados - made an awesome meal for two!!

The only downside to these soups is the salt content. Campbell's, can you reduce the sodium for those of us concerned about salt intake?
