I was helping my cousin with her daughter's bridal shower and found these straws. They were very sturdy compared to some other paper straws you find. They did not completely fall apart and become super soggy after sitting in the drink a couple of hours. I had been told that paper straws sometimes will have the paper taste to them but we did not notice that at all with these. We served pink lemonade in mason jars with holes punched in the lids. Was much nicer than paper cups and a much greener choice. While our guests did not take jars with them as shower gifts, that is an option. I am now using them at home and intend to reuse them at an upcoming party. Now I just need to order more straws! This time red and blue for a 4th of July party.

Product was fine as far as quality goes. But these straws are in no way red. They are a gross pink-orange color that did not at all match the other red plates/cups etc. that I bought these straws to go with. I would not buy these again.

I am disappointed in these straws because the color displayed is not the color you get!! I needed the lime color and when these arrived they are a HUNTER green.!! Just wanted to let everyone know in case u are ordering you know! The straws themselves are awesome! Just the wrong color for me!

I bought these to make rattle cake pops for a baby shower. I ended up not using them for that, instead I used them for regular cake pops. They are sturdy, look nice, and just make the cake pop stand out from regular sticks.

I ordered these for a purple-themed baby shower I was hosting. They arrived very quickly. We used them in both orange juice and lemonade (both pretty acidic) and the colors stayed true -- no creepy inking or anything. No taste, just like solid eco-friendly paper straws SHOULD be, and I was surprised to find they lasted in my drink, even though with organizing games and other festivities, my straw easily stayed in my lemonade for a few hours!

I use a lot of plastic straws. I felt bad sending them to the landfill. And I was a little worried about chemicals from the plastic leaching into my drinks. So I decided to try paper/cardboard straws.

I'm not sure that I'm a convert, but these were better than I expected based on the reviews I read before purchase. There was a small papery taste, but it wasn't overwhelming (I also didn't use these to drink water; all of my drinks were pretty highly flavored, which probably helped).

The longest I had one of these in a drink was 45 minutes or so, and I was pleased at how well they held up. They got a little bit soft but were usable the whole time -- I didn't have any problems with suction.

I got the pink ones and the color is bright and vibrant -- great if you're looking to match paper plates and napkins for a party. Mine were pretty close to the picture. The only thing that is keeping me from converting is that these are not economical compared to plastic straws. These are roughly twenty cents per straw, whereas you can get a couple hundred plastic straws for one or two bucks.

These arrived on time and just as I expected. They were meant to be used as decorative pieces on a baby shower table but guests loved them so much that they started using them. Make sure to tell people that they're paper straws and will only work through a few sips before starting to come apart. I'm buying other colors to add color to a large cubbie full of shelves.

Ordered these to put over the lollipop sticks on my cakepops for my granddaughter's birthday. Looked great and held up wonderfully as they don't get stuck directly into the cake they just slip over the stick and are attached by a little of the candy melts...
