Super well made! I was actually surprised when I got it how well the materials felt. Also... Little tip. I have a 2015 civic and was worried that the weight of three bikes would hurt the deck with the top straps. Well, on the inside of the trunk deck, there are several cut outs; they happen to be the ideal place to place the hooks so it takes stress off the trunk lid

The bike rack is nice and easy to install. I am giving this 3 stars not because of a defect but because it was not clear from Thule's website and/or amazon's website that this will not fit 18-20 inch kids bikes even if you buy the adapters made by Thule. Very disappointed.

Great little bike carrier. I bought the 2 bike version and it handles my road bike just fine. Installing it for the first time requires a little wrangling, but once you get the hang of it installation is pretty easy.

After a couple time, you should be able to put it on your car and then put on 2 bikes within 5 minutes. The 3 rubber straps that secure your bike to the carrier is pretty tight though, so a bit of muscle power is required. You also need to strap your bikes together so the handle bar doesn't fly in the wind. This is not secure against your car, so it can get stolen, don't leave your car parked outside over-night with the carrier on.

This carrier did not work very well on my Infiniti G37 because the back trunk lid is slanted, but luckily I have an SUV and that goes on without a problem. You want to make sure at least one of your car has a vertical trunk because of the side hooks.

Strong materials, solid frame. Good purchase. I've so far just used it for 2 bikes and it was great. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the joint that folds the arm where the bikes are mounted. The screw turn handle comes off altogether if you unscrew it too much- so I have to be careful not to lose that piece.

I was very pleased at how easy it was to install on my Buick LeSabre and how sturdy it was after tightening the straps. The bike rack is very well built and designed and handles our two bikes with ease. I felt very secure that our bikes were safe traveling down the road. A couple well placed bungy cords were an addition I would recommend.

Extremely difficult to fit to 2005 Honda Accord. I had to slam the trunk onto some of the hooks as they could not otherwise be fitted in. Instructions are not clear - It is difficult to tell which straps/hooks are which. Once on, it is difficult to tighten the straps.

Maybe this is a bad initial impression and it will get easier with experience, but so far I am missing my old bike carrier.

worked great except that it damaged the bumper of my car. The weight of the bikes and the way that bottom support goes it eventually just bent the bumper down and rolled under the trunk flange a little bit. Beware when you set this up that you need to also tighten the straps once the bikes are on it as they will be VERY loose after you add the weight.
