This product has been a wonderful pain reliever for me, a person who has been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (IC) or Painful Bladder Syndrome. After years of burning pain, I am finally having a more normal life again by taking these 600 mg super-strength aloe vera capsules. It has to be these super-strength capsules, as anything less will not work for me. I know, I tried. My urologist highly recommended that I take Desert Harvest Aloe Vera capsules instead of taking the one and only prescription drug, Elmiron. This prescription drug is very expensive and has major side effects, including hair loss. On the other hand, the aloe vera capsules are less expensive and have no side effects, and I can take as much as I need to relieve pain. I have found that I am getting enough healing in my bladder that I do not have to take as much aloe vera for my bladder condition. I highly recommend this product for others with Interstitial Cystitis.

I have tried everything out there for ic. I tried this brand a year ago but with trying so many things I didn't know what was working. Then one day during a flare I took 6 capsules every four hours. Within the first eight hours the pain, pressure and urgency went away. At that point I knew there was something to this. I have been taking 5 capsules three times a day and after three years of horrible suffering the pressure and frequency have subsided. I feel almost normal. I still watch everything I eat but at least now I feel comfortable. I tried chinese herbal medicines, Cysta-Q and Cystroproteck but I still had frequency while on these products and experienced a flare while on these products. This product needs to be taken daily to supplement what your body needs to calm the inflammation of the bladder and to prevent any inflammation. I don't think I can every stop taking it but it is worth the money. I also have an interstim device which I have had for 6 years and even that didn't stop the frequency. Wish I had stuck to this years ago.

A Lot of people will try to sell you aloe for various reasons. What they don't tell you is that unless it is processed a certain way, it will cause diarrhea. This is the only aloe I buy.

I have been diagnosed with IC and I take a prescription medication and Aloe for relief. I added Aloe Vera later in my regiment and I felt the impact within an hour of taking it. It makes my body feel so much better. The difference is wonderful!

I've had IC since the 90's and have been taking Elmiron every day since.The cost (even with insurance) was through the roof, so I thought I'd try a natural approach. I've been taking Desert Harvest Aloe Vera for a couple of months now, and I'm happy to say "so far so good!!" It works just as good, if not better, than Elmiron. I'd like to add that I also take Marshmallow Root along with it. I'm saving money, and getting off of pharmaceuticals at the same time. Plus, I'm a vegan...and so is this product. I highly recommend it to anyone with IC. One more thing...the shipping is super fast!!

It works for IC pain - I take three in the morning and three in the afternoon for spasm and flares. Very expensive - cost me about $70 a month.
