I was actually a bit nervous to receive this based on the previous reviews, but when I got it, I was pleasantly surprised! I am a college student, so I needed a nice, big pencil case and this was perfect! The other comments made it seem like it is only for kids, but I think its great for college. It is roomy, I can fit 20 pens/pencils, 3 sticky note pads, a mini stapler, and a big eraser! Also, the lock works for mine, you don't put the key in hard, instead you just fit it in then rotate it all the way to lock/unlock it. I highly recommend it for kids and definitely college students! GO WOLVERINES!

I bought the black on black combination lock box. Setting the combination code was easy with the video provided on this listing. I'm really glad they included the video as this made it an easier process. My lock box was received in perfect condition. It's very easy to use. We ordered this on July 31, 2015. With Prime shipping we've been using it since two days after we ordered it. To date we've not experienced any issues with the lock not working. I was hesitant to buy this box because there were so many negative reviews regarding the quality of the locking mechanism. It wasn't until I read a negative review on another lock box complimenting this particular manufacture that I decided to give this lock box a chance. For the price I really feel like we got what we paid for. We aren't using this to keep thieves out. I'm sure the lock might be easily picked should someone want to. If I need a more secure lock box I would look else where. This is also smaller. If you are familiar with the kid's pencil boxes they use for school, this is that size. For our casual use this met our needs.
I've added some photos to help you visualize the size of this box. Forced perspective makes my 2nd photo look like the ruler isn't aligned to the outer edge of the left hand size. I assure you it is! :)
My 2nd to last photo shows the removable zipper pockets on the left hand side. These pockets are attached with Velcro. That is the top of the case. The right hand side with the mesh stationary pocket is on the bottom of the case where your items rest.Read more ›

Love, Love, LOVE!!! I purchased the pink vault box and it is gorgeous! I use it for work to carry my supplies but its so cute that I think I might carry it around as a purse every once in awhile. It was such a fair price and I love that it locks. It's very sturdy and well made. I carry a standard size stapler, 4 pens, eraser, a small square box where I keep my paper clips, a notepad, staple remover, rubber bands, rubber fingers, and a lip gloss inside it. Everything fits nicely. I love it!
