After my cat ate the cord of my EarPods that came with my iPhone 5 (grr), I was looking to get some new ones but found they were way too expensive and the off-brand ones didn't have good reviews. Eh, they weren't extremely comfortable anyway, despite the new design. I guess I have small ears. So I went looking for some silicone in-ear buds with a remote so I could keep the functionality of the EarPods and be comfortable. After reading TONS of reviews on different brands with very different price points, the iLuv buds were affordable, had good reviews, came in white and had a compatible remote so I decided to purchase them.

I've been using them almost daily for about a month now and so far I am really pleased. The remote does its job with volume adjustment and playing/pausing/skipping music, and people seem to hear me clearly with the mic. The sound is great (though I'm not a sound aficionado, but the music sounds good to me). The ear buds are comfortable, I've been using the medium size ones and they mostly stay put.

My absolute most favorite part of these is the cord. It's a "tangle resistant" cord, my first, and it's fabulous. It's flat and wider than the Apple cords and is made of a more "smooth" plastic-like material, rather than the rubbery cord that that the Apple ones have that everyone knows are notorious for getting tangled like MAD. Sure, Apple has cases and things you can organize their cords with, but that takes extra time and these I can just throw in my purse and not have to worry about pulling them back out in a little insanely-tangled ball. They also seem to be more stain-resistant as well. My Apple ones would be dingy-grey by now, but these are still as white as can be. Seriously, the cord is amazing.Read more ›

This product is useable, the sound quality is OK, certainly well worth the price at $12. However, in my opinion and for my use, it is inadequate. I bought these because my stock Apple Headphone for my shuffle keeps falling out of my ears when I run. The good news for me is that these fit my ears perfectly, the bad news? I can't believe an engineer would make a product with such thick cords. The cables are obscenely thick... as in 1/4" wide! (think of wearing extension cords on your body!) and when I run, the weight of the cord flopping around inevitably yanks the buds out of my ear.

I would have never made the purchase if I saw these at a store.. if you're an active person, you should consider something else!

These headphones made listening to music on my phone a whole new experience. They have excellent sound, far superior to most earbuds. They also come with 3 sizes of soft rubber earbud pads, so they will sit securely in different sized ears. The rubber pads make a tighter seal, so you can hear your music without cranking up the volume too high. And the sound quality is fantastic - I can hear details in the recording that I can usually only hear with high-quality over-the ear headphones or a good speaker setup.

My favorite feature is the flat cables. They do not tangle like standard round headphone cables do. I can just drop them in my pocket without worrying. It is amazing how such a small change can make such a huge difference.

These headphones sound good. They don't have a mic, or control, but Amazon sales a version that does for only $5 more. I have the green and black pair, but I also like the black, and the white pair. The primary objective of these buds are to be stylish. I wore these while wearing a red shirt and they really popped. Of course there are better earphones for the money, but I doubt that they are this stylish. These headphones are balanced, have good bass, but are a little bright in the highs without being harsh. To tones these down, I am using a combo of music and white noise to burn these in. As stated before these buds are for fashion. They will definitely set you a part from the sea of gym bunnies with Beats by Dre Tours, and stock Apple Ear buds. These are simular in sound to the Panasonic Ergo RP-HJE120, but look 100% better. I liked these so much that I purchased a pair for a birthday gift.

OK, so these headphones are great for two reasons:
1. Nothing tangles. Ever. I carry them in my jeans pocket, and it takes me exactly 10 seconds to pull them out, get earbuds free and get going. This is due to the fact that they have flat, not round, and wide cord.
2. Sound is more than reasonable, adjustable earbuds make them stay in even when you are active (running or cycling) and controls work fine. Latter is super-important for when you are cycling and somebody calls you ;). They also isolate outside noise just fine so that the other side can hear you even when you are on a relatively busy street.

Recommended.
