Food will not fall down into the bowl. Even when the cat reached up for it, the kibble is hard to pull down. I've even removed the black piece that fits in the neck of the feeder. No difference. Will try another brand. I purchased two of them. Such a shame.

Pros: looks nice, holds enough food for a single cat for over a week, and it opens from the top so you don't have to turn it upside down spilling food.

Cons: it has a bracket at the base of the bottle that seems to restrict the amount of food coming out. So every other day I have to tap it to make the bowl fill.

I'm going to try to break out the bracket to allow and see if that helps. I suspect that the resourceful cat would manage to feed herself if left alone for a week, but it should flow better regardless.

the feeder has good quality but a bit smaller. It's also not dish washer friendly. maybe it's my own fault but it's completely ruined after dish washer. I think if you just handwash it, it would be okay.

The food does not fall down but my cat has figured out a way to pull the food out with her paw. The main reason why I am giving this item a low rating is that IT IS NOT DISHWASHER SAFE and I have attached a picture to prove it.

While I was expecting a pearl colored pet feeder, I am happy with this one, so now I have 3. They are easy to fill, and easy to keep clean - the parts all come apart, so you can pop out the trapped kibbies. And Most Important of all, the cats all love'em. >^^<.

Not in love with this. I bought a gravity feeder so I could just fill and go. I have to shake the dish to get the food to come out. I feed my cats Natural Balance dry cat food. It's small pebbles, so shouldn't be an issue, but for some reason doesn't flow out of the jug into the dish very well. I definitely wont be able to leave the cats for a weekend with just this feeder.

It's not what is advertised...It's really only a food holder. I was under the impression that more food is dispensed as my cats finish the food in the bowl. What really happens is that the food gets jammed and you have to shake out the food everytime the bowl is empty... extremely unreliable for leaving your cats at home for 2-3 days and you need something that will reliably feed them...

Great for keeping a steady food supply for your pet (unless they're binge eaters). A full load is good for about 2 weeks for my 11 pound dog, not counting treats and snacks. The only negative is the black ring at the base of the reservoir - not sure what it's for (I have an older bigger model and it doesn't have it) but it gets in the way of kibble coming down to refill the bowl. I removed it and it seems to work better.
