I bought this case and loved it from the beginning. Very cute, color popped, easy to put on and still nice to the grip......within days I was having problems with the phone, the screen was going black when I was trying to make calls, I could hit the send button but as soon as I put it up to my ear the screen turned black and would not go back, so if I had to push any buttons for an extension it was impossible also impossible to hang up, I would have to use the power button and hit it like 20 times just to hang up the phone. After going back and forth to the phone company exchanging the phone cause we all thought it was a phone issue, a sales guy finally figured out that the case was covering a sensor at the top. Apparently there is a sensor on the front screen at the very top above the speaker right where the case was covering it and that's what the problem was. So, case is very cute but unfortunately your phone won't work right with its sensor covered, so my advice don't waist your money.

The primary selling point of this case in my eyes was the advertised Non-slip soft touch. However, the case is the complete opposite. It's just a simple plastic case that is extremely slippery and hard to hang on to. It also has no lip on the the outer edges so when; you lay your phone face down it lays directly on the screen. Not good!

I was looking for a case that protected not only the back of my 8X, but also the screen if I needed to put my phone face down.

The case has a great build quality feel. The silicone core fits the phone perfectly and the hard shell backing can be inserted easily. The screen edge protection is great and doesn't make the phone look ugly.

It's lighter than most cases of this kind and doesn't add too much bulk. Recommended for those that want a great all around protection with good looks. If you only need protection for the back, get the Feather, which only protects the back and sides but it's very lightweigh.

The case is nice and does not add to the size of my phone, which is what I was looking for but I was disappointed by the way the screen protector was too big. The edges of the gorilla glass screen are slightly rounded and the screen protector did not stick to the rounded edges so it would peel off when putting the phone in my pocket. I probably could have cut it down to size but did not want to make the effort, and now I am reluctant to buy another screen protector because I don't want another one that is too big.

This case is great, plain and simple. I've long been a fan of Incipio and this case is no exception. I got it for my wife's phone and she loves it. The pink case with the blue phone is really sharp, and I say that as a guy. :) The one drawback was the screen protector. The glass on the 8X is curved in many places. Why they have to do this, I don't know, but it makes making a screen protector nearly impossible. It just won't stick to the curved parts of the glass. I have to give Incipio a MAJOR thumbs-up in the customer service department though. I tweeted about the screen protector being a disappointment and an hour later Incipio's Twitter account sent me a message asking me to send their customer service department an email. I sent my information to them and they immediately sent a new screen protector out. The new one suffered the same problem as the original but they earned my respect by taking the time out to try to solve the problem. Don't hesitate to buy this case or any other Incipio product!

Perfect fit to the HTC 8X. The phone is nice and thin and I didn't want a case to change that. It snaps right in and is a very snug fit. I plan to put a wrapsol screen protector on this and the cover will not interfere.

I did not like this case one bit. In fact, after it arrived and I put it on my 8X, I took it off after half a day. To me, this makes the buttons on the 8X even harder to push as the edges of the case interfere with the buttons. I like that it is slim in design and does not add hardly any bulk to the device. Still looking for a good performing case for the 8X. FYI: the Speck is awesome for functioning of the buttons but adds way too much bulk for me.

If you want to protect your new HTC 8X, don't buy this case. Zero protection on glass screen. Case is lower than the screen. No protection. The included screen protector doesn't fit properly, This phone's screen is slightly curved on the edges and protector wont adhere to glass. Also has an extra hole (cutout) at the top.that's not needed. Seems it was cut for a different phone. If you want a top notch screen protector buy ArmorSuit MilitaryShield - HTC Windows Phone 8X Screen Protector. Fits perfect, heavy duty..
