I got these bags based on customer reviews of these and other Axiom panniers. I was looking for panniers big enough for commuting to work, and since I prefer to ride in kit, I needed to be able to have clean clothes, a lunch bag, shoes (and I have big feet), and whatever other odds and ends I might need. The size/storage space in these is great! Ignore the (single) in the title, there are 2 bags that get shipped (one is inside the other).

Installation is easy. The hooks are adjustable via a screw that limits the space between hook and the back of the bag. This also means that in the unfortunate event if one were to break, it is easily replaceable. There are no zippers, the bags have a drawstring under the "hood" which gets snapped over the top.

The only thing these bags lack is a good way to stay organized. Both have a small outside pocket (big enough to fit a spare tube, and other little tools), but that is it. While some may see this as a downside, I believe it allows increased versatility. I put my clothes in a small mesh bag I can just pull out and take to the bathroom to change into.

These bags are great, the price is fantastic, and if you have any other questions, check out Axiom's website. They have a bunch of videos up on YouTube as well.
Happy cycling!

I really enjoy using this bag as my main pannier for commuting to work but it's not quite perfect. The bag is small in size and only comes with one side pocket (for wallet, phone, and etc.) on each side. I use an eagle creek Pack-It System to fold my work clothes in and it just barely fits inside the Axiom DLX 30 Pannier. Also, the inside of the bag seems to have some poor construction choices. I've only owned the bag for a few months now and I've already noticed two small holes on the inside of the bag adjacent to the side that mounts on the bike rack. The holes were caused by exposed screws rubbing against the fabric. A nut with a top cover could easily remedy the problem.

What I love about the bag is it's ease of use and reasonable cost. The bag can attach and detach from a bike rack with just a simple pull. If you are looking for something that won't break the bank and is easy to use I would recommend this pannier.

No I would not use these for a long expedition as they simply aren't rugged enough for constant abuse, but for short trips under a few weeks I consider these bags to be a bargain. These panniers fit perfectly on the Axiom Streamliner Road DLX Rack.

I'm very happy with these panniers. Although the descriptions says single, they will arrive with one stuffed inside the other.

They mount/dismount easily and they are quite secure. No problem bumping up and down curbs or on rough city streets.

A 15" MacBook fits perfectly inside. I also had room for a full change of clothes, a fleece jacket and my lunch in a single pannier.

There is reflective trim to aid in visibility and a place to mount a clip-on tail light on each exterior pocket.

The exterior pockets (one on each pannier) are quite roomy themselves. I carry a full size hairbrush and full size terrycloth washcloth with room to spare.

Each pannier is completely independent of the other, so you can easily use one or both as needed. There is a snap on the carry-handles so that when you're using both, you can snap them together for carrying convenience.

Construction appears to be quite rugged, and the water-resistant material should keep the contents dry at least for the duration of most people's commutes. I don't know how it would fare in longer exposure, but probably fairly well.

They do have a stiff backing on the mounting side, so no worries about wheel interference. And they are fairly narrow and taper toward the bottom, so no worries about kicking them while you pedal.

Awesome panniers at this price-point and compare favorably to many more expensive models.

I bought two different types of panniers to try out; these and a pair from LG. The LG bag set was nice to organize but I quickly realized the pockets got in the way when pedaling. These panniers are a simple design that works well. The panniers seem to be made out of good materials but time will tell the tale. The mounting system is secure and will fit any type of rack due to the smaller locking mechanism. The LG bags had a very robust locking system but it limited the available positioning of the bags (too far forward or too far back).

The volume of the panniers seems just right for my commute. I can fit my work clothes & shoes, running clothes & shoes, coffee, lunch, and emergency kit with some room leftover for a light jacket.

The only changes I would recommend; make the side pockets zip shut instead of Velcro and use a quick release on the bottom rather than the bungee cord.

I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend them.
