I was really surprised with these speakers. I gotta be honest, I bought them because of the price. I am not an audio expert, and for me they sound good enough. Yes, the speakers don't have the best quality of sound and it gets a little distorted at times, mainly when the sounds have a higher bass than treble, but they are good enough for the money. Harley Davidson stores have a preferred brand on the stores, but they are 4 times more expensive.

While riding in the city, you can clearly hear them with the helmet on and visor closed. When hitting the road at around 60-70 miles per hour, you can still hear them a bit. not that strong but the sound is there. I could not compare them to other more expensive band names, but am very pleased with them at the moment. I only had a hard time trying to place the power pack, but that's a problem with my bike.

One thing though. It does not come with a manual, so you have to figure out how to operate it. Installing is easy, and requires only that you know how to remove your battery and connect the power cables to the box. But to turn it on you have to press and hold the Mode button, then it turns on into FM radio, press it again and it goes to AUX. To turn it off, press and hold the button. Yes, it took me 5 minutes to figure it out.

Would I recommend them? Yes. For under $100 bucks they are good enough. Do they have a huge punch in sound? Not really, but it's good enough, and they have a Bass and Treble adjuster that helps a little bit.

Nice little stereo for the price but the install instructions say install in 10 minutes. Well I'm sure if you don't want or need to hide thee wires and make it look like a clean install. It took me 2 hours to properly remove components, run the wires, tie them off and then reinstall the parts. The only bigger issue I noticed is the sound is not that great but I think by adding better speakers to the rear of my bike mounted on my trunk I can over come that issue.

I bought the speakers due to price versus product. The product worked well when first installed. I had to do some searching for setup ideas. I took a road trip and ran into some rain. After that the right speaker would hardly play and is know blown. It doesn't even look damaged on the inside. I would have given this product four stars if they would have continued to work.

Great sounding and working unit. However, the remote is useless and can't change the radio station which means you would have to pull over each and every time you lose signal or just want to go to another station. Really makes the whole thing kind of pointless as a radio for a scooter. However, the company is really nice to work with and I was able to exchange this plus the price difference for a newer model with a nice remote.
