I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this mattress!!! What a difference a mattress can make! Our house is too big for a crib so we decided to go with the pack n play. After the...what feel like cardboard....mat got wet from a bottle spilling we were about to replace the whole thing. I then got the idea in my head to see if they make mattresses for them. And they do! I bought it right away and have been using it for a few months and it works perfectly. Some people saying the mattress is hard....a baby is sleeping on it. It's supposed to he hard. It's actually softer than a crib mattress! Highly recommend!

We bought this because the cardboard in the brand new play yard was popping up and making sleep uncomfortable for baby. We are very happy with this mattress and she sleeps much better with it. Now I need to find sheets that fit it. Not sure what the previous poster is saying about it "saying inner spring". Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see anything saying that. Maybe they reviewed the wrong product. It is as it's described.

This is a must-have item if your newborn or infant is sleeping in your Baby Trend Nursery Center.

Before we got this it was impossible for my daughter to sleep in the BTNC, the stiff and hard "mattress" that comes with it was just not comfortable at all. After much thought and a number of sleepless nights, we had to do something and bought this. It made a HUGE difference. We were able to put her down for naps and she would actually sleep!

The quality is good. The mattress isn't super soft, it's nice and firm as you want for a newborn. My one complaint is that the mattress crinkles rather loudly when touched/pushed on/etc. We bought some fitted sheets for it and that seemed to help a bit, but the noise did startle her awake at times.

I was disappointed at first because it seemed just as firm as the default play pen mattress. But somehow it does the trick and now our 6 week baby will sleep in there. We use it at the higher bassinet setting of the pack and play. Fit's the tend nursery perfect.

Fits perfect for baby trend nursery center playard. I read other reviews that it's really hard and noisy. It is pretty firm, I don't mind that because I don't want something to soft that my child could possibly suffocate on. As far as the noise goes, it's not that bad, it's waterproof so what do you really expect? My child doesn't seem to mind the noise or the firmness of it.

It is not rock hard, but just the right line between smooshiness and hard so baby is comfortable.
