Not exactly as pictured but still great

I was excited when I received these in the mail, I. Bought them for my father unlawful who lives on his boat in Newport harbor. They fit true to size and he said theey were comfortable. I looked through all the boat shoes on amazon and these were the only unique looking style. My father in law will now have an updated looking shoe to wear around the docks and on his boat. He called to tell my husband they grip great even though his boat is slick as can be and that he is very happy.

About the look of the shoe, the sole rubber wasn't white az pictured but was gray. Its not unattractive and I think it looks better. The shoes look very nice on a foot, they are neoprene and flex very well to fit the foot. When they are on a foot, they fill out and look just like a normal shaped shoe...they should have a better picture on here to demonstrate the actual look of the shoe instead of the image on here that looks odd and deflated.

As my husband works on his dads boat often and enjoys fishing regularly he has requested a pair of these shoes as well since he likes them al much too....

I would recommend this to anyone who wants something more modern and comfortable than the traditional boat shoe. These are really neat.

Super comfortable and cool-looking

Look and feel like a well-worn pair of black low-top Keds!

Loose enough that a little sand inside is no problem, snug enough for jogging.

Yes America, there are still some great values and true bargains out there. I'd give six stars for these if I could.

Pretty good value.

I haven't used these in the water yet, but wearing them around the house a bit, they appear to be a decent value. The fit is a little large, I think, and the elastic band around the top is so loose it is worthless. I tied a knot in it to snug it up and compensate for the slightly loose fit. Someday I may get rid of that elastic and thread a small bungee cord through the holes to get a more effective retention system. I think the soles will be nice and grippy in the water on my sailboard and catamaran. The soles are pretty thin and flexible, but should provide adequate protection on rocky surfaces. All in all, without really challenging these shoes yet, I think they will work out well for their intended purpose.

Lightweight and Comfortable

For pool and dock shoes, these are a good choice. I bought them for my husband, and he likes them. They fit snugly so there's no danger of them slipping off and floating away, but they are also light on the feet. Some boat shoes are too heavy and wearers kick them off as quickly as possible, but these can be worn in the water for aerobics and exercise.

Fell apart after 4 days.

Went river rafting in Moab, Utah and these worked great at first. About 2 days in, the sole started falling apart. These look GREAT but the quality isn't the greatest. Ended up losing on to the river but they did their job up until the last day.

Run large, but work

I bought these for my husband, who is a standard size 10. They were much too large, and I exchanged for a 9. The 9 fit perfectly, which mean they run almost a full size larger than normal. Other than that, they serve their purpose and look better than regular water shoes.

Runs large

Purchased these to do ocean water sports for my husband. He wears an 11 and I ordered an 11. The item arrived and the shoes are very stylish...just didn't fit. TOO LARGE and there is no way to tighten it too make it work. Had to return.
