This curtain rod is simply DELICIOUS! A strange word for it, but it is so smooth and silky shiny, it looks good enough to eat. I shopped around for a strong rod to hold very heavy bamboo curtains for my kitchen. The ads don't tell you the weight a rod will hold, but when I looked at the photo of this rod and reviewed the dimensions, I calculated that they would be strong enough for the job. And, I was right ... the rods held firm under 10 lbs. of weight (each cafe' weighed 5 lbs.) And, not only were the rods hefty enough for the job, they look great as well. It's so nice when a product can perform an important job and look good doing it, right? Don't we all want to meet that standard? (smile)

This was a gift and the person was very happy with the curtain rod. along with the drapes I bought on Amazon, it brighten up his living room.. The rod was well made. I have not had a chance to see it. This person live in another state.

The finials are really small on this rod to the point where I find them unnoticeable against my light gold wall.
The finials are pretty up close and have a nice finish, but their design gets lost some 10 feet above near the ceiling!
A plain brown or black knob-style finial would have sufficed.
The rods are 5/8" in diameter, so not thick or heavy-duty, but they seem sturdy for my heavier energy-saving thermal lined curtains.
Just thought they would be a little more of an eye-catching focal point on my windows.

I searched and searched for curtain rods. Wal-Mart, Bed Bath and Beyond, JCP, Sears and Amazon. These were the best priced and best reviews and I can see why. I have two curtains on each and they look nice and are sturdy!! I would recommend these and my curtains are of medium weight.

This was my first experience in putting up a curtain rod so I wasn't sure if I had the skill set to do it right. I dove right in. Measured to be sure I placed the brackets evenly, drilled the holes, placed the anchors in the wall & tightened the screws that held the brackets in place. Once the curtains were hung I tightened the last screw to keep the rod securely in place. If I can do it anybody can so I highly recommend the Kenney Parker Curtain Rod for the ease of installation. It looks great. It holds a fairly heavy curtain so it is durable & strong. The price was very reasonable & it looks far more expensive than it is. I wasn't disappointed & will buy again when I replace the bedroom curtains.

I love the beauty of this but maybe I have spastic hands but I could not figure out how to add the extension rod to make it 130". I had to plug up two ends and join them to make it work. The instructions skipped over the added length so I was lost and I am pretty handy in building things myself. It was up last night and beautiful...but not an easy assembly.

The ends of these curtain rods are very small...smaller than expected. They're pretty I just wish they were a little larger to stand out a little more. It also doesn't come with anything to reinforce the middle of the rod. These seem cheaply made.
