these are by far the worst curtain rods I have ever handled.They are horrible quality. The brackets are actually soft and bend so easily. The end pieces are cheap looking plastic and will not stay on the end of the rods.

if you are putting up super lightweight sheers, this will work. anything else, it will bend immediately. i tried sheer with large metal rings to put the rod through, and those rings made it too heavy for this rod. found one withuot and it worked. keep in mind that this rod is plastic. despite the "metal" finish. not really a great deal, but i didn't have time to go shopping and this came the next day. so that's what i paid for. it's a plastic stick that holds up tissue curtains and is painted nicely so from ground level if it's not sagging it looks good.

I may have read the product description too fast but when this arrived I was a bit let down by the fact that it is smaller than I imagined.. Not in length but in actual size. My curtains are thick and the next chance I get, I am going to switch this rod with the one in my living room; that way this thinner pole is paired with very light curtains.

I usually do not write bad reviews, but this rod was a joke. Packaging was fine, but rod was bent, very flimsy and knob at end was off and hard to put back on. You could see glue in the hollow part and it looked like a five year old had tried to glue it. I do not recommend this to anyone.

looks like a sturdy rod to hold quality curtains but it is small and would not be able to hold up a curtain-maybe a very sheer liner. It was also warped/bent when I received it-had to send it back-I could have gotten that quality at wal mart for 1/4 the price

Picture gives the indication of a bolder rod. It is so tiny, the finial on the end is the size of a large marble. Just my interpretation of the item so make sure you know that you are buying a very small rod.

The curtain rod arrived bent in a perfect box. It was clearly shipped in that condition. It also had a crack in the rod. Very disappointed as Big Lots carries nicer curtain rods for the same price.
