There were two sets of these rods in a house we moved into. If I hadn't decided to change the curtains, I wouldn't have noticed that these were plastic. They look just fine to me. I'm hanging some medium weight corduroy curtains on two 64 inch wide windows, and these are holding them up just as well as the $50 rods.

Spend your money on curtains and save your money on rods. Honestly, who comes to your house and fondles your curtain rods?

Nothing groundbreaking here - it's an inexpensive telescoping metal rod. The decorative ends are plastic, the mounting brackets are 'meh' but again, they get the job done and I wasn't looking for nor need anything fancy. Would buy again should I find myself needing another 86 to 120-inch chocolate rod.

I love it for the price. These are plastic finials on a thin rod. Perfect for light sheers, not perfect for heavy drapes.

All the pieces to the rod were not in the package. I only got the center piece which is 39 inches long and doesn't expand. The label says 86-120 in. so I ordered the right one.

The center piece that makes it adjustable was missing. I needed something around 100 inches this isn't even close because of the missing part. Awful quality control. For something with so few parts there is no excuse for missing ones

These may not be the best material around, but no one will know that except you! They look high-end and fabulous and much more expensive than they are. I have sets in 2 different rooms because after buying them for the first room, they worked so well and I loved them so much that I had to have more!

In my bedroom I have lightweight, sheer curtains on them and both of my kids play with them - hiding behind them and yanking on them, and they've managed to stay put just fine. The other set is in my living room and I hung thick, light-blocking curtains on them, they have held up for many months now, even when I'm opening and closing the curtains multiple times a day.

I think they're a great buy, absolutely amazing for the price, and I'm not sure what people are complaining about.

I was looking for new curtain rods without spending a arm and a leg. The curtain rod is pretty not super well made but functional which is what I was looking for. The ends are plastic so one of them did not fit as well on the rod. Also know that when opening or closing the curtains the rod slips through the holders. So this is not a good fit if you open and close the curtains every day. I think these rods are good. I don't open and close the curtains that often so for me these are just fine. They were super easy to put up and look really pretty.
