I ordered these mainly because of the low cost and the neutral color. I had a hard time finding economical hemstitch napkins in a "linen" color at the usual shopping places- Bed, Bath & Beyond, Home Goods, Target, Macy's...These napkins are the exact color of the top napkin in the thumbnail picture. As soon as I got them I washed & dried them on the gentle cycle and ironed them. I folded each into a napkin ring and used them while hosting Thanksgiving dinner. I'm happy to say the fabric is soft but sturdy/starchy enough to make it through many a meal. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a napkin bargain!

Works best to air dry on top of the dryer but when it slips through the laundry, no big deal, just finger press and put in the drawer a little more wrinkled but nothing worrisome. Nicely absorbent and washes easily. All of ours were square and neatly sewn.
