If your children are not already in love with the Skylanders franchise, keep them far far away from it. It is a huge money drain with all the various characters you will just "have" to buy because you need different characters to perform different actions. But if you're children are not already in love with the Skylanders franchise, then you wouldn't be looking at this product in the first place.

My children (3 and 5) LOVE Skylanders. Because of all the different Skylanders you can buy (and we have most of them) even a 3 year old can play the game and be successful because you have as many lives as you have Skylanders in each level. Of the four Skylanders games out now, Giants is my kids favorite, which is why we had to replace our copy because our original copy got all scratched up. The case of the game we purchased was broken, but the disc was in great condition upon arrival and my children can work to defeat Kaos once again.

I love this game. Unfortuantely I started this series with Trap Team so all my characters are upgraded so the fights are alot easier. I haven't made it that far in this game yet but the graphics are better than the first although it seems easier to figure out. The characters still can't jump but have been told they do in swap force. Am looking forward to finishing this game so I can move on to Swap Force before the Fifth game is released!!!!

We purchased this game after some how losing our original disk. My four year old absolutely loves the Skylanders and has his room is currently decorated with them. This game is fun for adults, my husband and I play the campaign and my children, ages six and four both enjoy battling each other. The controls are easy and do not require complex button patterns to achieve the skills that the Skylanders possess.

It's skylanders, what more is there to say.My sister loved the game, but unfortunately her disc was having some issues and soon became unplayable. This was a great option instead of having to drop $60 on a whole new game set.

My six year old can play this game just like his sister plays all those shooting war games. He feels like a big kid. The only thing is you have to collect all of those skylanders and it is getting addictive and expensive.

My nephew had already had Skylanders Giants and loved the game. Unfortunately the old disk had gotten scratched. My one request to these game manufacturers is that they would put these games on a media that isn't so easily damaged. That is especially important when a game is meant to appeal to the very young kids. Anyway, this option allowed me to buy just the disk for two thirds the price without having to buy a whole package. The shipper delivered the product in a bubble lined envelope which provided adequate protection, and they were reasonably prompt even taking the standard shipping.

Bought this game for the kids, and now I'm addicted to it! Such a fun game for the family to play! They have different difficulty levels, which is great for my youngest son, he isn't very experienced in video games. Definitely well worth it!
