((INITIAL REVIEW)) Awesome little floor saver. I only received that floor saver on this purchase (NO BAG). The floor saver fits perfect under the lynx 1 person tent ALPS Mountaineering 5024617 Lynx 1-Person Tent (not under vestibule). The poles to the lynx 1 person tent fit into the garments on the floor saver. The rainfly can be attached to the poles and the floor saver which allow for a dry setup of the lynx tent when raining. If you have ever setup a tent in the rain you know the pain and can appreciate being able to put up a rainfly before having to get up the tent. I attached some photos you people can get a better understanding. I gave this product 4 of 5 stars because I didn't get a bag with the floor saver. Its not a really big deal but I was expecting a bag and couldn't give half stars.

A real tent saver!
I have always purchased the footprint for all of my tents. It is absolutely necessary in most trail situations. There are rocks, sticks, dirt, and other things that can damage or shorten the life of your tent. The footprint helps to protect your tent floor from damage and dirt. It is much easier to clean the footprint than the tent floor, and your tent will love you for it.

This footprint has stake-down loops and buckles for the rain fly. When it's windy, you need to stake the footprint before pitching the tent. The extra long straps on the buckles allows more adjustability for the rain fly than the tent's straps do.

awesome piece to go with the tent. matches up perfectly, the tent poles go thru the provided holes, the floorsaver has the same snaps as tent, so it will snap directly into the fly, and the floorsaver has loops to stake it all down. a much better solution than a standard tarp and only slightly more money. also very lightweight and small, maybe 8x8xhalf inch or so?

I bought this foot print to match my one person tent, and it matches in length perfectly, but I think it could be wider about an inch. I have used this foot print mainly in the NW, where the ground is 99% moist and wet. It repels the water and protects the base of your tent from getting wet. You'll still get a little moisture underneath, but if you use a sleep pad or a waterproof sleeping bag, you won't get wet. I recommend the footprint!

Not as heavy (thickness) as I thought it might be. Proper size. Will work fine and it is a nice weight in terms of lbs. to carry. Wonder how long it will hold up but we will see. Better to replace this though than a tent bottom being ruined.

Works great and perfect size. I would like to add that some people have been mentioning that it should cover the vestibule area. That is not what a tent floor saver is designed to do. It should only cover the floor of the tent and be a tad bit smaller so it will not collect any water that may accumulate over night.

I bought this at the same time I got the matching tent. It's as promised, but a little thinner than expected -- great for weight, but I'm not sure how durable it'll be long-term. Eyelets for the poles makes it literally a snap to connect to the tent. I tested it in a full overnight rain this weekend and no moisture got to me inside.
