I just received my Smart Broom today and seriously cannot put it down! I have been sweeping all day and I am loving my new toy! I am the proud momma to 11 indoor cats (yes, you read that right, I did say 11 indoor cats) so you know that I have a cat hair problem. Now, it does take some elbow grease to use this broom on carpet (carpet does not really like being swept with a broom) but, wow, it gets the cat hair out! It was even picking up dirt and cat litter out of the carpet! On my hardwoods, using it as a push broom, it was even sweeping up the super fine dirt that other brooms and even vacuuming can't get up (I even did a white sock test)! I don't think there is any need for a microfiber dust cloth broom if you have the Smart Broom.

I am still trying to get my carpet sweeping technique down, do I push it or pull it towards me? Either way it seems to work just as well although the broom head is slightly curved so when you pull it towards you it ends up not picking stuff up in the center as well (unless you put more pressure). It does not have that issue if you are pushing the dirt and hair away from you but then you have to bend a little lower so that the broom head is not at much of an angle to the carpet.

The quality of the broom is excellent! Nice sturdy handle, the broom head gives no impression of being easily broken. It is a TALL broom, as tall as I am (I am about 5'2)!

Overall, this is an excellent product and I am so happy with my purchase!

Was looking for a good household broom for cleaning up dog hair, etc. We have primarily laminate floors, tile in kitchen, bathrooms and dining room. We have area rugs in the bedrooms and living room. We were getting the issue of hair building up on the rugs. Couple minutes of this and all my German shepards build up that had occurred was gone. Very impressive, quality seems to be top knotch and nothing feels flimsy about the product. Top that off with the product is actually made in the USA ?

I have owned a smart broom for ten years and I love it! It does a great job with the ever-present dog hair in our home and is very durable. I like to do housework first thing in the morning to get it done but don't feel up to the noise of a big vacuum cleaner at that time. With the smart broom, most of my floor work is done quickly and quietly. I use it on my hard wood floors and even some carpets. After I have amassed my piles of dirt and hair I clean them up quickly with a hand-held vac. I came looking on Amazon to see if they sold this broom in case I ever need a replacement. My broom has thin rubber bristles on one side of the head and wide ones on the opposite side. My only question is if this broom has the same design. It's not clear from the description.

Durable but as stated in other reviews item doesn't make full surface contact without considerable force. Small carpet jobs would be no concern but a large room you will want to tag team. I have not used this as a squeegee or broom.
On 1" contractor's carpet it did not pick up hair as expected. I have had 4 dogs and 2 cats minimum, with the same carpet for 6 years. I tried raking instead of the regular vacuuming schedule and got nothing. Not one fur ball. The lack of contact in the center of the broom is very obvious, thus the tiring pressure needed to make adequate contact. Extremely slow vacuuming with my older dyson got an entire canister full of hair out of the 6'X6' test area. took me about 30 min but only a quarter of the exertion applied.
This maybe an awesome squeegee or broom, but it doesn't work for the carpet as advertised. :/

Its 16" so its small for a broom/squeegee. It does however get the job done. All winter long in PA I deal with large amounts of water in my garage as the ice is brought in with the cars and melts. This allows me to push all of the road salt and water out of the garage with ease. I enjoyed using it so much I decided to use it to move the slush and water off of my driveway after shoveling to have the cleanest driveway in the neighborhood. The rubble bristles are more effective than my other broom and push brooms as I was able to get dried oil that had leaked from a turbo that was replaced incorrectly in the Fall.

This broom is of better construction (solid, durable) than the broom I was replacing. Unfortunately, this broom design just does not sweep well for me. The broom head has a bow (apparently intended design) and one must press down with considerable pressure so that the entire broom head makes contact with the floor. Many reviews extol its virtues...I don't see it. My old broom is lighter, not as solidly constructed, but it sweeps circles around this design.

Its small. Growing up on a farm, having to move large amount of debri from the concrete or barn with a squeegee broom. I will say my expectations are high.I just needed one for my screened in patio because I have a green house in it and when cleaning, a light job. This squeegee helps somewhat. I still use a broom for clean up.

This is the best broom I ever had. The broom handle works for tall and short folks. The broom squeegee is wider then others I have. The curved bristle design is a well thought out design and helps with collection dust/debris and brings it to the middle of the squeegee part without spreading what ever one needs to collect.
