"I own two of these, in a different color "Toasted Leather Grain", apparently no longer available. Were fine about a year until both started curling up around the edges.... all the way around to lift up about a half-inch. Causes a trip hazard."

I was contacted by GelPro customer service who obviously reads the reviews and believes in standing behind their product well after the warranty. They replaced both of my 2 year old mats with new improved ones! Thanks you GelPro! These new ones are a lot nicer, the edges are formed downward so they hug the floor, and there is much less slippage on the floor. Much better! Thanks again!

After about a year and a half it started turning up on the corners. At this price it should last a few years.
Contacted the company, since it only had a one year warranty, they wouldn't replace it, but offered a discount on another one. Why would I want to pay for another one every 18 months?
Now we have no option but to throw away this expensive mat.
I think I will buy gel insoles for my slippers.
Be careful buying any "high quality item" with a short warranty!

It is great to stand on, but shows every footprint from your shoes. I don't recommend this unless you take your footwear off when you enter the house so you don't track the "dust" or dirt in from outside.

This mat is beautiful and very comfortable, however after a year the edges began to curl up. Now two years after purchase, the edges are about an inch off the ground on all sides and I trip over the mat every time I pass it. Sadly I must throw it away since it has become a safety issue. I'm very disappointed that such a beautiful, comfortable, expensive mat didn't maintain its shape.

I have a GelPro Elite and was going to use it at the packing desk in the warehouse. When I opened the box and stood on it - it went no farther than the kitchen in the house. It has a textured surface, beveled edges that no one has tripped on at all and is heavy enough that it doesn't slide around the floor.

I LOVE it --- I’m using in our kitchen and I’m very pleased. It doesn’t skid across the floor, it’s not slippery when wet and it doesn’t “squish” around and make me feel like I have vertigo when I’m standing on it!! When I use the steam mop on the floor, I just do a few swipes on the GelPro mat and cleaning done.
Of course I'm wasn't standing in front of the stove constantly so it's hard to say what it's doing for my back. I can say, however, that I like it more and more since it's canning season and I'm standing in front of the stove longer than usual.

I would never stand at my kitchen sink or my butcher-block table without being planted on this mat. It's super-comfortable, and offers great support. My one complaint is that it's on the heavy side, and an effort to schlep.

I love this mat! I put it in front of the kitchen sink, since that is a place where I stand for quite while. I have some leg circulation problems, but this mat is flexible and saves my legs. It is also easy to clean, no natter how dirty it gets. A once-over with a mop or sponge will do the job. I recommend this most highly. There's nothing like it!
