She loves it!
Highly reflective.
A bit warm for warm.weather riding, but I suspect it'll be optimum for fall riding, especially with it getting dark earlier.

I get complements every time I wear this. Drivers have pulled along side me on the road to shout out sincere thanks and appreciation. Nothing says, "I'm here! don't hit me!" like BRIGHT FLAMING orange. Just the slightest bit of light causes the huge reflective panels to glow.

I somehow managed to get the orange jacket for $24.99 on Amazon.com, and then the price went back up to $100. Not sure what happened there. Last year's model? Mistake in pricing? I scored!!

I wanted a hi-viz jacket for both day and night, so the combination of fluorescent and large reflective panels is perfect for me. I thought about the 100% reflective Proviz jacket (so awesome!) but it's grey color would be suicidal on a typical gray Oregon day.

I won't be wearing this on muggy days above 60F, a wet century ride, a hard training day, or a long distance multi-day tour - it is not designed for anything that breaks a good sweat. If Proviz comes out with a jacket for that kind of riding, I'll buy it!

This makes really good commuter jacket - perfect for my 4 miles to and from work. Not as hot and sweaty as I feared it could be, while being warmer than most of my other thin rain jackets. It was only a bit sweaty under my backpack - but that happens with any jacket. It's has been comfortable for temps under 60F wearing no more than a thin long sleeve shirt underneath. I am a 5'7", 195lbs and a size 16 (American) with big hips. I worried that a size 16 might be too small. I should have bought the 14. This is big in the shoulders and waist. It said women's, but it is cut for a man. It would be better a little tailoring at the waist so that when in a bike position it doesn't bunch up so much in the front. Could be a bit longer in the back too - but if you have fenders you won't mind this.

Awesome visibility in general, although it would be nice to have the reflective material on the arms placed so that turn signals were more visible at night. The rear pocket zipper gets stuck more than it works. There is an inner pocket that almost fits an iPhone 5 (it isn't quite tall enough to fasten the velcro with the phone in place), I don't think an iPhone 6 or similar sized phone would fit at all. The main zipper is hard to adjust with one hand while riding.

The jacket is very waterproof – not water gets in, or out. You'll definitely sweat some weight off riding with this jacket :-)

I can't say enough good things about this jacket. I'll try and list them, but I'm not sure I'll remember them all.
1. Bright - I actually had to shield my eyes when I pulled this out of the box. I wasn't prepared for the intensity of this jacket. I don't think there is anyway to prepare for it either...
2. Pockets - I am just getting into cycling for commuting (and hopefully touring) and the pockets are large and easily accessible. I was worried about there not being any front pockets, but it turns out that the rear pocket accessible from the sides (as opposed to the also huge horizontal rear pocket) also wraps around the front. The fronts can hold phone and keys in place and they won't scooch around to the back. That is a very nicely thought out feature.
3. Reflective materials - Are F R E A K I N G everywhere. Reflective piping, reflective lettering, reflective patches, reflective zippers. If it's not reflective, the brightness just about makes up for it.
4. Waterproof - I've only ridden in a brief shower with it, but so far, I've been dry.
5. Breathable - I did have to unzip while riding up a particularly long hill, but to be fair, it was 65ºF (18ºC) and sunny, so I should have had just a t-shirt on.
6. Accessories - Apparently, there is a battery operated light pack that you can get separately for this. That wasn't terribly clear in the description, but it looks like a sweet accessory should I ever need it. Honestly though, this jacket is really bright already and I don't think I'll need it.

The only possible mark against the jacket is it is off-gassing pretty heavily and smells strongly of the plastic used to create it. It's dissipated over the week I've had it, but it is still noticeable.

Proviz Nightrider Men's Jacket, safety orange

Reflectivity: Most of the reflective panels are on the sides (under the arms, which wrap around the back somewhat, and on the arms). The one's under the arms are somewhat hidden when not cycling. As seen in the photo, there are panels on the top of the shoulders, but these are more decorative than functional. The back has a 6" reflective triangular patch attached with velcro/hook-and-loop. I don't know why you would want to remove it, especially because when you do, you have a large black velcro triangle on your back. The triangle gives the jacket a bit of a work-safety jacket look. So, all in all, the function of the reflectivity is somewhat lacking in the front and back, and the styling is unique.

Fit: Runs large.

Details: Fleece around the neck, draw string at waist, and wrist closures are nice details. The strangest one is the side pockets. These look like pockets because they open into the mesh lining that covers the interior. In other words, there is no interior to the side pockets; they open into the lining of the jacket, so when you put something in the pockets, it ends up at your butt, in the tail of the jacket. These side pockets aren't well designed as vents either, since they have a wind cover over the zipper. Very poor design on this aspect.
