I bought this to pair with Mitsu 92742 for two reasons. 1. I found the internal IR does not have a long range. 2. I heard that blutooth works better than IR. Although Mitsu 92742 does not have internal RF, the EX105BT has an external emitter. No problem...it works flawlessly.

I only tried Samsung and Sony glasses before. compared with those, Xpand glasses are very light. No problem if you want to watch movies from a long distance, say, 20 feet away. If you shake your head or move your body, the picture will not blur--that's due to fast refresh rate, I suppose.

One lesson I've learned, unlike the Sony glasses, the Xpand glasses need to be reconnected with the RF signal when you play the next new movie. What I do now is simply turn off the glasses at the end of the movie, and then turn them on when the next movie starts. That way, the glasses reconnect automatically.

Overall, I am very satisfied. I've bought one pair of EX105BT, and three pairs of X105BT. I paid significantly more for the X105BT (close to $50 a pair). The glasses at the current price are a good deal, IMO.

I bought these to use with a JVC RS4810 projector and confirm they work well with this unit and the JVC RF dongle. The glasses are well made and comfortable and work well. I like that these are rechargeable and do not have to replace batteries.

Functionally these glasses are good. I can't compare them to any others, but I don't experience any visual artifacts. They are a bit heavy and could really benefit from side shades, because even in a darkened room, the light cast by the TV illuminates my face enough that there is some reflection off the back of the lenses.

Edit:
I've been able to use these a few more times, and wanted to say that they really do work well and if I could give them a 4.5 I would. Some sort of side shades would make them perfect. I use them with a Mits 73738.

Works great with my JVC DLA-RS46u Projector! Saves a BUNCH of money over the JVC emitter ($100) and their glasses. High quality, rechargeable via any USB port or charger, and seem to be fairly sturdy. They fit over regular glasses, if needed. While there is not an enormous amount of 3D programming available, I've watched several 3D movies over Comcast cable and my PS3 and have been very impressed so far. I can share that the 3D effect is basically wasted unless the screen size is fairly large to allow the 'immersive effect' to be experienced. A 12 foot 3D screen is great...a 55" TV, not so much. (I have both, BTW.)

I had a few pairs of Samsung SSG-5100GB glasses for another TV that work with this emitter as well, but these seem to pass a little more light, and are thus the image is a little brighter.

I'm guessing that most RF / Bluetooth 3D glasses will work with most 3D TVs and projectors, but I can only attest that these two brands/models work.

All in all, a great value that works really well.

These are great 3D RF bluetooth glasses. They are not as heavy as the Sony 3D glasses I previously used, that were IR only. What's great about these 3D glasses is they work perfectly with the Sony VPL series front projectors, such as the VPL-HW40ES or VPL-HW55ES, from the external 3D Vesa Port, using the 3D Vesa Port conversion cable, Sony part number 184805211, that costs around $75 (https://www.servicesplus.sel.sony.com/sony-part-number-184805211.aspx#).

Sent these back, they were terrible. Tried them with my Mitsubishi 73" ... it might just be that 3D tech isn't where it needs to be, but these paired with the Mitsubishi had terrible trails. I don't know who in their right mind would prefer this over 2D.

I bought these hoping they would work with my new Epson 6030 and they do. Nice glasses! Not 5 stars because the on/off switch is hard to use until you get used to it.
