The white lid matches the Primo 2-1/2 gallon water cooler almost perfectly. The difference between the two white colors is so small that it's not noticeable. We did not want to have the big blue jug sitting on the top for aesthetic reasons and because those jugs are really heavy. So, we purchase water in gallon jugs and pour it in. It's great to have easy access to better tasting water!

Great lid. I am glad that I got it. I decided that I did not want to keep a huge 5 gallon jug of water on top of my crock! Even if you do keep the 5 gallon jug up there, It is good to have the lid.
