Purchased this for an Invacare walker. It does not fit over the handles far enough down to properly hold the walker grips. Even with the positioning allowed, the tray in unsteady. We even took it to a local medical supply and tried it on several other walkers. It didn't fit any of them any better. When I received this tray, the enclosures said it was a nonreturnable for sanitary reasons; and vendor won't return my call. So, I have a nice new tray that fits nothing.

This tray is designed to fit a push button walker whose handles are up to 2" in in width. Measure carefully.

The tray is sturdy and cleans well. It has given my mom independence to be able get her own food (or anything else) and take it to where she wants to go. She is able to sit on the couch or the side of her bed and eat directly using it as her table.

Although the tray does limit the ability to stand directly between the walker handles, this has not been a problem for her, even with her unsteadines.

The only con--the cup holders are in the wrong place for my mom's walker, but that's a minor inconvenience.

As a nurse myself, I wanted something for my mother to use so she could carry her dishes. After trying both this one and the Duro-Med Fold Away, I've come to realize that there simply is not a perfect solution.

This one is easier to use than the other one, but it is so wobbly no dish will stay on it. I finally tied a scarf around the sides and handles of the walker, which helped, but she now isn't able to hold the walker handles very well.

If you live in a larger city, your best bet would be to shop around in your local stores and, just as a woman would dresses, try them on first. I am not so lucky. I live in a moderately sized city, but medical equipment competition is very lacking.

I'm going to keep this one because I've already tried two, but it's not the saving grace that some have called it.

The label "universal" says it will fit all walkers--it didn't allow for the fingers to fold around the top of the walker--did not fall low enough below to have a safe grip. When I requested return information, I got the message if it is used it will not be returnable (I didn't use it...but who knows what they will think) and we will be paying postage both ways--thought I paid already one way and a 20 % restocking fee for a $24 purchase. Packaging was a plastic bag in a plastic bag which tore in transit. Ive purchased from Amazon before and this is the first time I am upset about the return process.

Okay, so I wasn't expecting much really. But I'm stuck using a walker for two months and figured a tray would help me during the day when I am alone. It made sense in theory - make some lunch, put it on the tray, hobble back to bed. But like so many "universal fit" products, that means it doesn't actually fit anything perfectly. On my walker it doesn't rest comfortably the cross bars, so at any given moment, it may angle forward or may angle back, allowing things to slide off the tray. And while I am pretty careful, using a walker is inherently a jerky business. Not really a great product...just a compromise where no one is ever really happy.

I bought this tray for my mom and she uses it constantly. It makes it so much easier for her to carry items when she is using her walker. It is lightweight, incredibly easy to install and remove, and easily cleaned. Many people have asked her where she got it and how to get one.

The only complaint with the tray is the placement of the two holes for cups. They are just above the crosspiece for the walker so cups cannot sit very deeply in them and so cups tend to be a bit wobbly. Other than that, my mom loves this tray.

Update 1 year later: my mom still uses this tray everyday and still comments on how handy it is. I just wish it came in colors other than gray.
