Cheaper than Lowe's

Bolts cost a fortune at Lowes. They're much cheaper in bulk from bolt depot (online supplier) but they don't work out for small orders as they come with a hefty shipping charge, as they don't use USPS.

Amazon appears to nicely cater to the middle ground - substantially cheaper than Lowes, and more cost effective than Bolt Depot for small orders where shipping is punitive.

Otherwise what more can I say? I got what seems to be the real deal, bolts of the specification I ordered, in a timely fashion. I installed four of them into the coupling I fabricated for a large (and heavy) steel rudder I built for my boat, and I'm confident it'll do what I want. They're my weakest link and should still easily be strong enough that if they sheared I'd be taking all sorts of other damage.

This screw definitely got the job done, but I had to knock off one star due to a lack of... how do you say it? Emotional connection. From a spiritual perspective this screw was only just a bit above average. I would definitely buy again, but with a sense of ennui.

Good quality. I replaced a 6" lower control arm bolt on my 2005 H2. 5/8"-11 x 6". It is a perfect alternative to the metric 10.9 bolt I got mad at and cut off LOL!!
