I bought both this set and the Norwex kit to compare them. You won't be sorry with either option-- they are both amazing and will blow your mind.

The Norwex set is only 3 pieces, but one of their cloths perform most of the functions that many of these cloths perform. However, there is no comparing the E-cloth oven and range cloth to anything in the Norwex set. It's awesome and I love it. It removes grease and grim easily off the range.

What I do not care for in the E-cloth set is that you are expected to clean and then polish by using two separate cloths (if the polish cloth is destroyed you will have to buy more to use the majority of the cloths). I prefer the Norwex in that it only requires one cloth.

If you're wondering if the Norwex is really worth the extra $$, then that will depend on what you want most from the set. I think they perform similarly in most regards except the duster. The Norwex dust mitt is superior in all regards; it picks up and collects dust and pet hair while the e-cloth simply seems to spread it around. However, the window cleaners, the kitchen cleaner, the stainless steel cleaner, the bathroom cleaner are all comparable to the Norwex products.

Summary:
-E-cloth has an over and range cloth that's awesome (Norwex kit doesn't offer this)
-Norwex duster is much, much better than E-cloths
-Norwex is more expensive than E-cloth
-E-cloth requires a cleaning cloth then a polishing cloth for most cleaning jobs. Norwex cloths clean and polish at the same time.
-E-cloth has many cloths that perform the same as one cloth in the Norwex kit.

Which is better? It depends on what you want. Either way I think you'll be happy with which ever one you choose.

I have sold both Norwex and e-cloth products. I know these products inside-out and backwards and swear by them. They work incredibly and last forever.

The truth is, both products are wonderful and will change the way you clean but e-cloths perform as well as Norwex at a fraction of the cost.

BUT I'M REALLY WRITING THIS REVIEW BECAUSE...

I see a lot of comments on Amazon about e-cloth vs Norwex and how many users prefer the Norwex cloths because "the silver in the Norwex kills bacteria and sterilizes surfaces". It is important to know - and PLEASE BE AWARE that - the silver in your Norwex cloth does NOT kill bacteria on surfaces (i.e. counters, sinks, tables, toilets etc.). E-cloths and Norwex cloths work the same way: the microfiber in the cloths picks up bacteria (over 99.9% in the case of e-cloths), dirt and grime and it is held/trapped in the cloth until you rinse it out or launder it. E-cloth has very good lab test results showing that when you rinse the cloth well after you use it, over 99% of bacteria picked up by the cloth is rinsed out.

The silver in your Norwex cloths only acts to speed up the killing of bacteria IN THE CLOTH - NOT ON THE SURFACE. The only reason you would need this is if you're not rinsing your cloth after you use it, because like I mentioned above, if you rinse the cloth after you use it, the bacteria is rinsed out.

I'm a realist and know that we all have quirky preferences and there are some people that will prefer Norwex over e-cloth (it's like a Coke/Pepsi thing - only with one being much cheaper than the other in this case). There is no disputing that they both clean well.

Wow, I am loving these cloths! I'm a big skeptic, so I didn't expect much out of them. So fresh out of the package, I attacked my long-neglected gas range top with the blue oven cloth, and WOW! My daughter actually came out and asked me if I got a new stove top because it looked like new! I'm still in awe. The kitchen cloth is just wonderful, especially with it's scrubby corner. The bathroom cloth is similar to the kitchen cloth, but without a scrubby corner. I don't expect it would take off bathtub grub too easily, but any of the scrubbier cloths would do that quick and easy. Thanks to the stainless steel and window cloths, followed by the polishing cloths, all my glass and appliances are clear and shiny. I have 6,4,and 2 year olds with grubby fingers, and my fridge has always been a nightmare to keep clean, but now it's amazingly quick and easy to shine up. The only cloth I don't care much for is the dusting cloth. Living in dessert farmland, we like to say we could grow potatoes on our furniture, and this cloth just can't handle the amount of dust that accumulates. If you live in a less dusty area or dust more frequently than we do, it might be great, that's just my experience.
The best part? No cleaners! No more cracking, bleeding fingers. No more toxicity. And I can hand a damp cloth to my little kiddos and put them to their chores with no worry what they are breathing or touching, while getting the job done as well or better than before.
A note on care: Use a detergent with no fillers or brighteners (Kirkland F&C is good) and wash these separate from cotton or linty laundry, as the microfiber will grab onto the fibers and lose effectiveness.
A Norwex-selling friend of mine is sending me samples to compare, and I will update this review after I receive those.
