THis stuff is amazing. It made my washing machine smell all clean and fresh, but then I started reading on it and it can be used for all kinds of things. My fav is to throw a little in the wash with my laundry to help get out any stain or things that may need a little extra boost.

Amazing. The odor in our washer was so nasty that I was getting ready to sell the machine. After running this through ONCE it worked better than that other stuff. After two times the odor is gone. I have used it as a booster in with my daughter's cloth diaper covers and they came out gleaming. What a bonus that the price is far less than the other stuff, too! I will definitely order this again. Using this, and a towel to absorb the sitting water from the door gasket will actually allow me to keep this machine until it dies.

I would say if i have to purchase this again i probably would however....please read and follow the instructions carefully because the product tends to leave some residue behind especially if you do not use hot water during the process. I was a bit disappointed about that but overall the product delivered the smell in the washer is lesser now which helps. Thanks.

Recently joined the ranks of the front load washer ranks, after years of sticking to inefficient top loaders, no matter how many of my friends and family spoke highly of them. But finally gave in after their prices were the same as top loaders, and they worked out the issues. The savings In water, electricity, and detergent have been worth it.

I worried about the mold issues most early adopters of front loaders in the US complained about, although I assume most of the complaints were due to poor maintenance practices, such as not leaving the washer door open after use (which i believe is smart for top loaders too, since standing water and humidity lead to mold and other beasties), or failing to run a bleach or vinegar load through every so often.

I am skeptical of dishwasher cleaners, knowing the detergent is pretty harsh, and modern dishwashers are very efficient. Likewise garbage disposal cleaners, which regularly scrubbing, lemons, and or vinegar washes seem to work fine in the past. But this stuff I gave into using, assuming the new front loaders have much more going on inside them than the simple lines of our old top loader. Having done plentry of repairs to our appliances over the years, I know most are simple to work on, but on the front loaders I am taking a pass due to their complexity and reliance on electronics. Thus, thus stuff is worth it if it helps even a small amount.

It had good reviews, was reasonably priced, and I have to assume it works. So recommend it.

I tried just about every method on the internet including the bleach tub soak with little to no improvement. Next was the vinegar "shock" method. You pour 1.5 gallons of vinegar over several towels and run through the tub clean cycle. That seemed to help but the odor was still present. I decided to try Kleenit. After the first treatment, the odor was noticeably reduced. We continued to add 1 1/2 capfuls for the next several loads. The odors are gone. I reordered 5 bottles to keep my front loader smelling fresh for months to come. Very good product. Highly recommended.

Wow! I love this stuff! I don't know why all of a sudden we have to CLEAN our appliances, but this stuff works wonders! I have added it as an oxy boost to the washing machine, rubbed it into a grease stain for an extra assist, used it in the dishwasher (to "clean" that machine). I am very pleased. I find that I use this one regularly and occasionally go back to Smelly Washer powder to get comprehensive cleaning coverage. My HE washing machine glass will NOT get clean with just one of these products. I also use a nylon sponge to scrub the scum off the Washing Machine glass door after the "clean" load is done. This is a great product at a great price! I added it to my Subscribe and Save, and use about 1 bottle a month.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if your clothes start smelling funny its coming from deeper inside your washer. I found that out when my washing machine was being serviced. When he opened the machine that smell I was smelling was all wrapped up around the drum on the inside. I you use this a few times the smell will eventually go away and you will only need to do maintenance once a month so the smell does not return. This cleans that moldy nasty smell.
