We own a four-plex that is right across from a church in a pretty decent part of town. However we're on the cusp of the not so great part of town, too. There are a few homeless people that sleep around the church at night. Well, one of our tenants called to tell us that boxes started showing up around our dumpster. Many of them, and they were full of roaches. Another tenant called to complain that the homeless were now starting to "relieve" themselves on our property as well. So we found the "NO DUMPING" sign to be quite appropriate. We put them up along with one of those fake outside cameras with a sensor and LED light that comes on when you pass in front of it. WORKED! No more "dumping."
