I wasn't going to write a review of this item because I really only purchased it out of necessity, not preference. I wasn't really excited by the look, and the reason I picked this item is because it was the best priced deal of anything I could find in a sports shop or bike shop
The reason I decided to write is because today it was raining hard during my commute home. The bag description indicates it is water resistant, but what I found when I got home was that everything inside was completely dry, and the water on the outside of the bag just beaded right off and nothing was even damp! I am very happy about the bag's performance in the rain. So here is my review:
I've had it for a couple of weeks, and it has been pretty good. I am able to fit a lot of stuff in - change of clothes, small pair of shoes (like flats, pumps or my low-top converse; no boots or big tennies when packing with other things) and socks, small towel, make-up bag, hairbrush, bike lock, keys, mini pump, wallet, and sunglasses. And the quick release button does make it easy to pop on and off the rack.
The bag has a removable liner, and is reinforced with a thin hard plastic and foam around the sides and thick hard plastic on the bottom. The outer bottom of the bag is hard plastic, and overall the bag is pretty sturdy. I've been stretching the zippers a bit, and they're surviving well. The side pockets are a good size, perfect for my big wallet/checkbook. There are two side pockets and a rear pocket with a stripe of reflector material across the back pocket. It comes with a shoulder strap which is pretty comfortable, although I haven't had to carry it very far.
What I wasn't happy about was the rack. It is not universal - at least, not for my bike.

I am planning a trip this weekend and ordered the Ibera PakRak touring bicycle carrier and quick release bag and I only received the carrier and not the bag. Now I am trying to contact the seller and I do not see were this information is. Attention to detail must not be a priority. For the money spent on this it is just a disappointment to not have what I need for my ride.

UPDATE: Amazon sent me another combo rack and bag over night. I was very happy about this until I opened the box and realized they forgot the D@m** bag again. This is just getting silly, so I opted out for refund. I will now have to tear the rack off my bike to send back the now multiple racks and get my 83 bucks back and then purchase the rack and then purchase the bag in two different orders. This is what I suggest to all reading this review. I would have to say the rack is awesome, I purchased them with the quick release panniers and they fit nice and adjust for no heal strike. I just do not know if it is worth all this head ache.

UPDATE (Couple weeks later and a few hundred miles):There is a comment from the company attached to my review about my situation and there remarks on it. Other then the previous mentioned shipping issues I am changing my heated rating of 1 star to 4 stars. I really enjoy Ibera products. To start, the rear rack is light weight and sturdy. My bike did not have rack mounting holes built into the frame. A quick trip to the hardware store I picked up some aluminum C clamps with the rubber insoles to protect the bike. You can find these in the plumbing or electrical section of Home Depot. With the clamps, I also picked up some 1/4" washers with nuts and bolts (I do not remember the size it would vary on your frame size and clamps you find").

So i got this in addition to the Ibera panniers and quick release bag; was looking for a sweet storage system for the back of my bike. So the quick release works great if by itself and the panniers work great if by themselves, using both of them together is a nightmare that only Ridley Scott could have come up with. I am not saying it can't happen, with a little hard force and some cursing I got them both to work but it puts so much stress on the quick connect that I don't see the connection lasting very long with the strain it's being put under. While I am not happy about this aspect the quality of the material seems durable and looks like it will last. The install of the carrier was simple and easy and does work great with my disc brake system.

im military and moved to a location that doesn't allow cars so a bike is the only way of getting around and I got tried of carrying a backpack everywhere so I look into this one with the bag that removes easily and attaches just as quick. Ive had this on my bike for a little over two weeks now and love it. Putting the rack on was simple, did take me some time to get on there but i wasn't rushing, but it defiantly wasn't hard to do. It came with instructions but they aren't really needed its that simple. Then the bag clips easy and quick. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a rack and bag for a daily rider or even the weekend trips.

Bought a new bike and needed a new rack, bought Ibera since it had good recommendations. Had a few issues with installing it to replace the brand-specific one that came on the bike (Giant Anyroad II). I had to bend the mounting rods, as would be expected, and the first one went well. The second one just snapped in half using my hands, which makes me worry about the metal quality of the whole rack. I contacted Ibera directly to ask about a replacement for the rods, and they very promptly sent me a link to order new ones from Amazon ($8.99 to replace the one that broke). I'm glad I found a replacement quickly but a bit surprised it cost me to replace what was cheap metal to begin with.

Rest of rack seems OK, although the actual mounting on the bike is not the greatest design I have seen. To get over the disc brakes you have to use included spacers and long mounting bolts. Probably pretty standard design but seems like bad engineering to me, places a lot of stress on not bending those bolts with a load. I used it for several hundred miles so far, but not with a heavy load to be honest. I thought about bending the side rods to attach with shorter bolts and no spacers, but given the experience of bending the other rods I was a bit nervous about bending anything else on this.

Bag is nice, plenty big for commuting use, which is what I wanted. The hard plastic bottom to the bag prevents slinging mud and water up on the rider since I have no fenders, and the quick mount makes it easy to carry with me. Not sure how it would hold up for long touring uses, but given the different in coast I think it's a pretty good alternative to the top brands. Word of warning not obvious when you look at Ibera products, this bag only fits this and one other rack from them, not all of their own racks in case you need to interchange the bag among multiple bikes (which is what I really wanted when I bought a different Ibera rack for another bike).
