This jacket comes in European size 36 - 46 equivalent of Approx. US size 6-16.

    Victorian delight!!!

    Size 6=xs on size chart and that is CORRECT!!!!!!!! I was elated. usually size 6 is huge in stores, but this must be a UK 6. Fits perfectly and cinches the waist.

    I am petite and wear an xs, but have a huge bust (34 F) and this jacket still buttons. woo-hoo!

    This jacket is a must have for those eccentric fashionistas with everything in their closets.

    The material is not real velvet, more of a poly-velvet, but will do.

    Im going to wear it all the time, it is great!!!!

    Looks perfect with a black lace skirt, tutu or crazy anything!!!

    on Friday I had questions about the sizing of this particular jacket. I sent the company in email and they responded within a couple of hours. I thought a size 10 would be a great fit, and it probably would have been. however since I have broader than normal shoulders, and am a 36 D, I asked if a 12 would be a better fit. they said it would be. and they were very correct. it is a little bit loose but that leaves more room for other clothes to go underneath. this jacket is amazingly comfortable! as I said I ordered it late Friday afternoon and it arrived the very next Monday. I would recommend this jacket to anyone and everyone!!!!

    i'm very pleased with the product in general. Would have LOVED a heavy cotton lace, but that wasn't an option now was it! The jacket is well constructed. Yes, The ties are long. If you don't need it or like it, as a seamstress may I suggest trimming to preferred length and then heating (with a manageable flame) JUST THE CUT edge over a small flame and allowing a bit of melting to seal and to finish the newly cut length? Worked for me.
    Had i been less fear full, about sizing and had i trusted other postings MY 38c-d chest and 31 inch waist with narrow shoulders and med length torso would have ordered a size 8 and enjoyed a much more proper fit. Very nice garment. Thank you folks! I love great female cuts. Keep showing me off, PLEASE, in all the right ways and places.

    Wow! This is a great jacket. I was amazed at how well it was made. The fabric is a soft slightly stretchy velvet and the delicate lace is also nice to the touch. I do wish I woukd have ordered one size down. The 16 is a but big. But, it does tight with the corset lacing in the back. Overall I am impressed!

    OMG!! THIS JACKET IS AMAZING! It is so well made and well worth the cost. I received sooo many compliments on the jacket at the party I attended. It can be worn with anything.     I bought this for a steampunk wedding and I absolutely love it!! It's a nice quality and weight. I did write in with my measurements and asked the seller which size would be appropriate and was glad that I did as the one I would have ordered would have been too small. As long as you double check your measurements and get the correct size you will love this jacket. I wore it to the wedding with an adorable ruched black skirt but I plan to wear it with jeans and some awesome black heels on date night in the future. The detail at the back helps to cinch it at the waist and accentuate the female figure. Beautiful and unique piece!
