You ever have so much space in a compact range bag that you loose all track of all the various things that are well organized in pockets, looking through collection after collection on items in specified areas that you forget which pocket your complete set of gun tools are in, your range muffs glasses hat and shooting shirt. cleaning supplies, 5 bore snakes for different calibers along with 2 sets of spray cleaning fluid and 2 sets of synthetic gun lube placed in a thick glass tincture bottle, any gun tool ive ever needed, targets, push pins, clips, markers for those who make your own targets). I don't have time to name all the pockets and their various uses and organization ability but if your looking to have the same problems I do, buy the bag, I don't know how something so compact can fit 2 single handgun bags, 1 double pistol bag all the above mentioned and more. and YES the mole system works perfectly. I ordered a pouch to weave on it (that when it arrived I realized I didn't need but I had it anyway). a carry 4 pistols in it, if I bought the double pistol bags instead of the singles I could easily carry 6, mags for different guns included.

ever own anything smith and Wesson and find pleasant suprises to be thankful for, this is no different. it can support a lot of weight, endless magazine, ammo, tools. usually you have to buy a big bag to put a lot of things in but COMPACT COMPACT COMPACT, its like harry huidini designed this bag. I nice smith and Wesson logo on the front but nothing too gaudy.

At first glance the "tactical smith and Wesson bag" was what I was originally was going for but I decided based on all the good reviews to give this a shot. If you need a range bag the stock pic of this looks like little more than a duffle bag...Read more ›

The bag itself is super. Not to big, not to small. However the one I received has the Smith & Wesson wording and insignia upside down. Read one other review with the same problem and his was written in July 2013. Called Amazon and they promised to check the lot they had to see if all were defective or not. Haven't heard back from them either way, but got a notification that the new one has shipped. Keeping my fingers crossed, because I have a shooting match Thursday and really wanted this ready to go by then. If the new one comes in with the wording and insignia right, it will be a 5 star rating. It is a high quality bag with more than enough pockets for everything you need to take to the range, indoor or outdoor. Tuesday 5 NOV. True to their word, Amazon customer service double checked the lot of bags they had. Though they didn't share their findings with me, the new bag I got yesterday was correct and I already have it filled and ready for the range this evening. The expedited shipping was/is greatly appreciated. Wish that I had paid more attention to the customer service ladies name so that I could send amazon a comment on her caring and taking personal responsibility for fixing this issue and keeping my faith in Amazon.com for a vial shopping needs provider. THANKS!

The center compartment of this bag has ample size for two full size pistols, two ears, two eyes, and 200 rounds of ammo. Also, the outside compartment (logo side) holds nine magazines in separate sleeves. The outside compartment on the other side has a mesh pocket sized to fit small accessories (like speed loaders) or hold any watches, rings, etc. you don't want to wear while at the range. ID pouch is there, if you use that sort of thing. Holds a lot but isn't too bulky. I don't really use the separate ammo pouch, but it's nice to have.

I do use the gun rug. It would be nicer if the sides were closed in or could be fastened, because the gun can slide out of the side if you're not handling it carefully.

The build quality overall is very good, material is sturdy ballistic nylon, and zippers are decent. My only complaint is one of the zippers along the top (for the center compartment) seems to stick a little and needs to be coaxed to shut. That sort of defeats the purpose of the twin zipper strap, but other that it's great. Good value. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

This could very well be the best range bag for those of us who seriously train in indoor ranges with more than one concealable handgun. It is smaller and more efficient than a larger range bag that it replaced, one that kept knocking things off display racks at the gun store/range. In this bag, I am carrying: one 3-inch M1911 in a removable gun rug inserted in one of the large outside pockets with up to four extra mags in mesh pockets; one Glock 36 in the opposite pocket (without gun rug) plus five Glock mags in six mag loops; one J-Frame revolver in one of the two padded zippered pockets of the removable tote bag that goes into the main compartment; earmuff-style hearing protector, 100-200 rds of handgun ammo in 50 rd boxes, box of foam ear plugs, and eye protection resting on top of all that; band-aids (to prevent pinkie blisters on the G36) in one of the small exterior end pockets; note pad with pen and Sharpie for marking bullet holes in the other end pocket. A four-inch barrel N-frame revolver can also be accommodated with reduced capacity for other things, or if the tote bag is removed. A window holds your range membership card in case someone doesn't recognize you. Zippers have easy to grip cords that can be padlocked.
