Huge. Swallows a Baofeng UV-5r radio even with the extended battery. The top of the radio sits about 1" below the top of the pouch. There is an elastic retainer strap included that is adjustable with two squares of velcro, one at each end, to use the radio pouch as open-top if desired. The elastic retainer can also be removed completely. The flap is wide enough to cover the entire top opening, and although the flap does include a narrowed area on either side for the antenna to sit, the radio would need to fill the pouch entirely in order for the antenna and the narrowed side areas to match up. There is a slot in the top center of the flap for allowing feed-through of an earpiece wire. The slot is just a small slice that can be opened up to the size of an area surrounding that is sewn in a rectangle with cross-stitching.

The flap has a button in the velcro area that matches up to a button on the pouch body for redundancy if desired (Triple secure--elastic, velcro, and button.) The molle is strong and well sewn. Two columns by three rows. Elastic gatherers on the side keep everything snug if you have a larger radio. There is a metal grommet drain hole in the bottom center of the pouch. (Useful for routing a tiger tail through, for increasing the efficiency of your radio.)

While the pouch is indeed very well made and sturdy, unless you have a radio much larger than the Baofeng UV-5r series, it is overkill. The outside footprint out of the pouch with no radio in it is 4 1/4" wide, 9" tall with the flap velcro lined up on the pouch front, and 1 3/4" deep. I guess if you wanted to, you could put a spare standard battery, small roll-up dipole antenna and some throw-line, or any number of related radio accessories in there with the radio, but they would be in the way when trying to remove and replace the radio.

If all else fails, you can always use it as a dual 30 round AR mag holder.

Used for a Harris M/A-COM P7100 radio. Fits great even with an attached belt clip and external mic connected to the radio. Cover flap is cut for an antenna and has an adjustable elastic band that can snap in place to secure the radio when the flap is open. The flap has to close at a slight angle if the mic is attached to a P7100 as the radio sits at a slight angle, but no problem closing it.

Received the item as described. Shipping took much longer than expected, due to the color I wanted (OD green) being out of stock, but not wanting a substitution I was willing to wait. Pro-Line replied to my inquiries in a timely manner and was very helpful! They agreed to put a hold on my order until the green pouches came back into stock. It took over a month to restock, but I finally have mine for review.

The advertised dimensions are: 8"High x 4 1/2"Wide x 2"Deep.

My pouch measured out to: Overall - 7 1/2"H x 4 3/8"W x 2 1/2"D.

Inside pocket dimensions - 6"H x 3"W x 2 1/4"D.

So some slight difference, but these made in China goods do tend to not be perfect copies from one to the next. No worries, since I planned to use a Midland GXT1000 in it. My main concern was having enough room side to side for the headset plug, since there's no passthrough for one. Most radio pouches I've looked at don't have this feature so width was the biggest concern for me. Thankfully my Midland fits perfectly and has just enough room for the headset plug without worry of the talk button being depressed by accident.

The top velcro flap is a generous length, and there's an included interior velcro-attached strap to secure your antenna, but I'm not going to use mine. The flap goes over the top of my radio, and completely encloses it. There is a gap at the top sides of the pouch, but there's no chance of my radio falling out, so I'm covered. The flap also provides protection against sun and rain but it's not waterproof.

The OD green color varies from one manufacturer to the next, but it's a good match for my Condor pistol holster, and my Gryffon Golem chest rig; they pretty much all look like they belong together, which is nice.

So overall I'm pleased with this pouch, and happy with Pro-Line's great customer service. I can recommend them both without hesitation!

One tough and versitile radio HT pouch. Has velcro and adjustments to fit and protect radio pretty nice. Top flap is notched so that antenna does not have to be removed. Belt loops and adjustments are very useful to fit carry situations. Will buy a second one. Excellent for the price.

I have been very pleased with Condor products gear. They are not quite as HD as Maxpedition but still decent quality gear at a affordable price. Each Mfg. have there niches in the market. I am using this for a Kenwood TH-K20A with a KMC-45 speaker mic. The pouch is an inch or so higher than the radio which is fine as it helps protect the radio from the elements. The quality is good and for the price it's hard to beat. A much larger radio can easily fit in this. Motorola HT 1250, Kenwood TK series and I'm thinking even a Bendix King DPH would not be an issue. For really tall radios there is an extra removable retainer strap on HD Velcro that will hold the radio in in case it's too big to close the cover flap. I like that the radio is somewhat protected inside the case as many others I looked at tend to have large areas exposed when you look at the "universal" radio pouches. Good buy!
