I knew that additional protein can help laying hens get back into production faster after a molt, but had never really tried a supplement, instead just giving them extra kitchen scraps including meat scraps, scrambled eggs, nuts, etc. I tried some Manna-Pro Multi-species Performance last week and within days I had gone from 5-6 weggs per day to 9-10 from my 21 laying hens. I have several horses, one of which is a very hard keeper OTTB. Have used a variety of combinations and supplements, including flax, rice bran, beet pulp, oil and weight boosters of several brands with little noticeable results. This finally did it! It's been almost 3 weeks and I'm definitely seeing gains now! They love the taste. I bought 50lbs on sale for $26 at Tractor Supply and you only feed about a pound a day so it is very affordable. Regular price for 50 lbs is around $31 at TS, so the price here on Amazon is WAY HIGHER.
