Truthfully, I've never really taken the extra step to condition my hair after washing it. Maybe I should have, as I have very fine hair, but I've just not been inspired to make the extra effort as long as I was clean and presentable. I have, however, tried about every two-in-one product on the market. For years, I used Pert Plus. But as I got older, my scalp started getting a little dryer and so I started to get more geared toward dandruff shampoos. Dove Men+Care Fortifying Shampoo + Conditioner Sensitive Scalp 2 in 1 (wow, that's a mouthful of a name) seemed to address both of my concerns as it is formulated to work against a dry scalp.

Having tried this product for a while now, I say that it is a decent shampoo. It lathers and rinses well, and has a pleasant (but not overpowering) scent. Its magical formula includes both caffeine and tea extract. I'm not sure what the caffeine does to your hair that makes it an appealing choice, but I know I've used a variety of beauty items that include tea extract. I like the semi-tingly sensation that I get from this shampoo, makes me think something is working. And best of all, I haven't noticed a lot of flakes or anything. Am I so impressed that I would go out of my way to pick up this new Dove? Perhaps not. But I like it and wouldn't hesitate to use it again. KGHarris, 2/13.

I have no idea what healing capabilities Tea Tree Oil and Caffeine(!!!) have, but, in my case, they've done wonders. I've tried many, many mens shampoos, but none was as gentle and curative as this. Other shampoos were too harsh and caused sores and scabs on my scalp, but this doesn't and it clears up my scalp as well as doing a super job on cleansing my hair. I doubt I'll go back to any I've used in the past...except for a once every week total cleansing with Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo. I find it's necessary to do this to rid my hair of the buildup of conditioners.

I am a big fan of Dove products and a big fan of Tea Tree so this 2 in 1 is a winner. The conditioning is mild and does not weigh your hair down. My son was the tester for this product and he gives it two thumbs up. As for me, the fragrance is just too strong but not over powering. I wish companies would take the number of products a person uses in the shower into consideration...all of them competing with each other can be a bit much.

Basically dove shampoo that's had the typical fragrance removed and replaced with a dime store aftershave smell (most of which goes away when you rinse it out).

It's not terrible and it does a good job of cleaning/conditioning my hair.

I've never been huge fan of 2-in-1 shampoos, but lately I wasn't having the best of the luck finding a good shampoo/conditioner. The fragrance is very nice and I tend to like this version a bit more than the menthol one. Every since I've been using this Dove Men 2-in-1 I haven't had the need to use any other concentrated tea tree treatment for dry, itchy, or flakey scalp... pretty amazing if you ask me. This version has tea tree extract in it, which is a nice addition so you don't have to use something else. It lives your hair feeling clean, but not too dry. Big fan of what Dove is doing with their men's products now.

This shampoo has a light mint scent that mixes better with the other scents from soaps and deodorants than a fruity shampoo does. It doesn't leave hair as manageable as other all in one conditioner/shampoos do, but it does bring out hair color.

Whoever thought it would be efficacious to put caffeine in a hair product deserves kudos for imagination. who knows if there's a legitimate reason for do so.

The Dove+ shampoo bottle has gone against convention and has a pointed more phallic top than the flat tops most shampoo bottles use. A flat top bottle stored upside down is easier to use. The add copy written on the bottle about using this product to be a man is ridiculous and almost a good reason not to buy this shampoo. So pick it up and have a laugh.

Got this for my husband to try and shockingly he likes it a lot. Im sure its all in his mind, but he even thinks his hair has thickened up since he's been using it. I'm not so sure, but, at least he likes it and its " not girly smelling." He is on his 2 nd bottle now.

I love this product! I thought I would be turned off by a strong perfume scent but it hardly has any scent at all, and what scent it does have is very nice. It lathers up well and rinses out extremely well. I know it's for men, but as far as I'm concerned shampoo is shampoo and women can use it too. I was able to easily comb out all the tangles, so for guys with long hair this product should do you just fine. After I blow dried my hair I was very pleased with the texture and sheen. Also, I noticed very little static fly away. I really like this stuff!
