I am a huge fan of Patagonia. This is one of several jackets I own by them. The Nano Puff Jacket is a great layering piece for cold weather or as a standalone when active. I have this in multiple colors and have used it as my winter coat here in CT with no issues. It is a slimmer fit especially if you have curves so you may want to order a size up. Worth the investment especially with Patagonia's warranty and customer service.

Love it! Very light weight but keeps me really warm. I wish I would have purchased one with a hood (of course that would have added about $70 bucks to the price tag. I have washed several times and it still looks great.

Excellent layering piece and very warm for being so light! I live in a fairly moderate climate (CA Central coast) and bought this for a snow trip as I had nothing appropriate. (We have a Patagonia outlet in town and I got a good deal). I'm very happy it's synthetic insulation as I feel Down has ethical issues (although Patagonia's is supposedly cruelty free) also synthetic will retain 90% of its warmth when wet. Nice! I have a large chest and purchased the women's XL enough room for a light fleece underneath and fits my curves. Yay!
I'm amazed at how warm this coat is for being so light. I can layer a fleece under it for extra warmth or put on my rain shell over it. Very versatile!
I love that it compresses into something small. I can easily stash it in a small backpack if I get warm.
Our snow destination turned out to be quite warm during our visit so I wore this jacket over my snow overalls and a shirt and was warm and waterproof. Maybe not for those freezing cold East Coast winters but for my needs a great investment. Do wish it had a hood but not willing to pay such high $$$ for that feature.

Love this jacket! Warm and easy to wear with just about anything. And the wind doesnt whip thru in the seams like others. The battingnis small enough that it covers without being bulky. My only complaint are stains are hard to remove so be gentle when near dirt, grease etc
