Seems like a silly thing, but as you get older and your skin loses it's elasticity, these are necessary to support the weight of even the smallest earrings. Sad fact, but true. Took kind of a long time to get here, but they were so cheap, it's hard to complain too loudly.

I swapped out these backs on my new earrings because I thought they would be more comfortable. While it's true they were more comfortable and I could wear my new studs all the time, the earrings fell out of both ears within the first week. I found one and put it back in using the original back but I wasn't as fortunate with the second one. I'm still searching for my earring.

My mother, who is an elderly lady, is always dropping her ear bobs on the floor and losing them. They are so tiny and so hard to see once they land on a carpet.

So I bought these earring backs and replaced all of her ear bobs with these and she loves them. Not only can she put them on easily, but, if she should drop one on the floor, she can see (or I can see) to pick it up and replace it promptly.

Heartily recommend these to replace all those little ear bobs.

These backs have been useless to me. I bought them because I have used similar backs in the past that worked out really well for me and last forever. These are terrible! Some of them had already fallen apart before I even used them, and those I did use didn't fit on the posts of any of the earrings I bought them for. I don't understand how people have had a good experience with these. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
